Although the new version of the NIV is not my favorite version is still God's Word and at this price you can't beat it. We purchase them to give them away. If you are looking for a personal Bible I highly suggest getting something better that will last longer and has the Old Testament in it. This book is meant for evangelism and for young children.Highly recommended

It is a good version of the Bible but the print is much, much smaller than I expected. Thankfully I purchased it as a gift for a younger person, if it had been for me I would have returned it. The pages are pretty flimsy also.

These thin New Testaments are perfect for giving away. I offer them to street people who are asking for money. I always enclose a bill inside the Testament & am always pleased at how many street people are so happy to have a Bible they can slip into their backpack. Most of those I've given out I have been able to follow up on & the majority actually do read this little Bible. It's a great outreach tool for a really good price.
