Almost Gone: The World's Rarest Animals (Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science 2)

Great book, my 6 yo son loves it, but it arrived in a small envelope and had been folded in half. Who folds a book in half?

Purchased for my grandson didn't see how old this edition was.. I will try and explain to him that some of animals may no longer be currently on list...

Detail is great. Love that it shows not only those that are endangered but some that are making a come back thanks the help of many individuals.

Can't complain about much, gifts for a child. Book was in complete shape with no torn pages or damage on the corners.

We love this series... we must own at least 50 of the books, and we would give all of them 4 or 5 stars except this one. It was lacking. Nice if you're just looking for a list of animals and some info about them, but doesn't bring much else to the table.

I bought this book to help my Brownie Pack with their Environment Badge. Arrived promptly and as described. Would have preferred 'real' photos instead of drawings but information was very well written and suitable for age group 7-10.

This is a beautiful book with wonderful images. I do regret that it is not a hardback, as the book is quite floppy, but the quality of content makes up for this inconvenience. I would recommend this book for any child who loves animals and want to know more about nearly extinct species.
