CVC-Wally Flex

This is fantastic if your mess is within 6-7 ft. It's well made and the installation was straightforward. Attaches to a standard central vac port. I use it in the laundry room.

Ordered as replacement for unit 8 years old. The hose of the old unit developed a hole in the hose where it attaches to the wand. A replacement hose was going to cost more than a new unit. The hose of the new unit does not extend as far as the old unit about a foot less. I don't know if the material is different or if the hose is just a bit shorter. Wand reaches about 15.5 feet when fully extended.The old unit had yellowed from sun exposure.The switch to activate the central vacuum is manual to turn On but will automatically turn Off when the wand is stored. The wand swivels on the hose allowing the hose to twist as it extends and retracts. The wand will accept regular vacuum attachments but if you have a white unit you may get black marks on the wand from black plastic attachments.Works great and is used regularly to clean lint from the dryer filter and to clean the home entryway.The old unit did yellow a lot from the sun.Overall we have been pleased with the operation of the Wally Flex.

I purchased 2 of these in October 2020 and the flexible hose material rips apart easily even with light use. I'm not stretching these at all when I use them, but where it bends the most (right up near the wall attachment) the rubber tears a hole. After just a few weeks of use, I've been gluing the holes shut with E6000 (that section is no longer flexible) and within a few weeks or maybe a month another hole rips open at the next loop and I glue that. I have one original attachment from over a decade ago and that hose is used and abused while having zero tears.

We sue the Wally-vac in our animal hospital and we actually have about 7 of them. They work just fine, however periodically the hoses will break from frequent use. Every time this happens we have to buy an entire new wall unit due to the fact that we cannot buy just the replacement hose. This is not only a waste of money but a waste of resources as well, and now I have like 6 extra wall units sitting in a closet since I JUST NEEDED THE HOSE. Please take better care of your customers, and the planet, by offering this part which easily breaks after many uses.

I just added the fourth one of these to our house system. They're very handy, and saves the time and effort needed to drag out the "big hose".

This is the 2nd one I installed. We now have one in the coat closet by the front door and also in the laundry room by the back door. Great for quick cleanups and doing the dryer lint trap.

Love this thing, but would love to see a lower cover for the hose even as an option for wall mounting. Would be a nice finishing touch to make the whole unit look clean on the wall.

Great, great, great! Going to put in a couple more. Much heavier and better built than I expected. Well worth the money. Will buy again.
