Little Gaget
Fantastic little gadget, when wasps appear you can deal with it at arms length and set it free without the risk of being stung

Useful for large flies, spiders & other bugs
Construction is a little flimsy, but at less than a tenner you get what you pay for. That said, the mechanism works well and I've used it several times for wasps, bees, large flies (the small ones are too fast!) and a spider. The sliding door really only works without touching on vertical surfaces. If you're dealing with the floor or ceiling you have to push the door shut. Larger creatures can start off being trapped by the sliding door, but I found that if I only closed it part of the way they soon adjusted their position to enable me to complete the closing without injury to the creature. This applied to a bee and to a particularly large spider, though I suspect the latter may have been a mystery shopper as we don't normally get them that big!I bought this for my daughter, no really, and she hasn't used it yet so the above review is from the viewpoint of not having a problem with the bugs. One comment for the maker... I realise covering the packaging with pictures of huge spiders kind of shows what the device is for, but my daughter couldn't even look at the box without being horrified!!!! She would never have bought this in a shop! Once we threw the packaging away it helped!Personally I have found this best for bees and wasps. It stands up bu itself by the kitchen window & if an intruder is spotted its a 2 minute job to deal with it. No flat batteries, easy to use, but due to the clear plastic trapbox you can still see the offending bug - good really as you need to watch where it goes!Hope this helps

Catch the fly
Catch the fly humanly & release it into the fresh air , had one for 30 plus years but it broke , couldn’t get another one quick enough

Finally, a tool I can trust to catch spiders
Very happy with this implement. So far this week I have caught 2 spiders in my home and put them unscathed back in my garden. I am quite scared of spiders and a few months ago bought an electric spider catcher. I did not have to use it for quite a while and when I did it had lost power so much so it was unusable. So I went to my electrical local electric shop and asked for a new battery which was fitted for me. The salesman turned it on to test it and it made the right sound. A few days later I switched it on to hoover a spider close to me. The motor switched on but there was a smell of burning. So to be safe I returned to the shop and explained the problem. They put in a new battery again and the smell of burning was still there and the implement became very hot so they threw the spider catcher along with the two new batteries away. So I scoured the Internet and came across this safe spider catcher in Amazon and I am glad I did. This is much better and safer than my last one.

Check the size
I laughed when I opened this as it was half the size but twice the price of our previous Katcha model. Anyhow it still does the job despite the shorter handle.

Very Flimsy
Not quite what I was expecting, it is a lot more flimsy and the handle is not long enough to reach a ceiling.

An essential requirement for arachnophobes.
I have tried a few different spider-catching devices but this one is definitely the best. I dont find the suction or grabbing devices work.I can say that having one handy has actually changed my life and, if anything, has made me less scared of spiders as I know I can remove them without having to get too close.I also use it to catch bees, wasps, flies or any other unwelcome pests as I never kill anything. Its easy to use and the plastic base is large enough for the biggest spider. The only drawback is that it isnt possible to let the trapdoor slide shut on its own as it traps the spiders legs, it has to be gently pushed close (usually with my foot) to allow the spider to walk onto it before taking it outside to release it.

Does what it's supposed to do
When I received the Katcha Bug device, I was doubtful about how such flimsy plastic thing would work, when it is assembled the stick part is much shorter than I thought it would be. I am terrified of spiders and creepy crawlies but never liked killing them. This item is ideal to get rid of spiders from the house easily. I have now used this a few times and I am happy to report that the katcha bug does what it's supposed to. I have caught a bee in my kitchen and also a few big spiders. You do have to be careful not to close the flap too quickly otherwise the insects legs get caught. I would definitely recommend to all arachnophobes.
