BarcaLounger Baron II Recliner - Stargo Red

The end result is that I have two of these chairs and am very happy with their comfort level and the quality. A nice dull red, not too bright. The delivery of these wound up being a bit of an adventure though. However, I got these for a great price so it was overall worth it than spending $300 more ($150 each).The first delivery issue was that it took a while before it shipped. It shipped directly from the manufacturer (Barcalounger), so I suspect they might be building these as they are ordered rather than having them in stock. Still, made to order is not such a bad thing, and Barcalounger quality is among the best of the recliner manufacturers, so I will cut them some slack here. The company could have been a bit better in communicating to me the status though.Where the real hassle began was the local delivery company used (in New York City). It shipped from the manufacturer to a local delivery company, and they were more interested delivery logistics than customer service. They were not terrible, but they were not so good any communication. My first delivery window came and went, with no notification from them. When I called them, they did deliver it the next day, though slightly later than the second window they gave me. The delivery person was very helpful though.Once you order these, someone will need to call and arrange a delivery. They initially told me they would just drop it at the curb, which posed a problem for me. They ultimately did deliver it into my apartment though, but not after making me scramble trying to figure out how to deal with a 240 lbs crate at the curb.The other important thing to note is that they deliver it on a wooden pallet with each chair coming in two pieces. There is no hardware and tools needed to put the back onto the base, but you do have to do this assembly task yourself.
