This is the best type of adorable calcium to take, according to Google.Calcium is known to block the bowels and this formula does so with a vengeance. Be prepared to use stool softeners and other products that aid elimination of the bowels while using this formula.

Some pills in the bottle are broken. It hurts to swallow them.

It's kind of silly to rate a vitamin supplement when you don't really know what your body is doing with it.I've been taking this brand of calcium citrate for a few months now, but haven't noticed any improvement in fingernail hardness. That doesn't mean the supplement isn't decent; it might mean I need more calcium than what's offered here, though I also eat calcium-rich foods. Or it might take longer yet to notice changes. I do like that these tabs are junk-free, can be taken on an empty stomach, and that they are not a mega-dose, since you can only absorb about 300 mg at a time anyway. And I do like the 3rd party lab testing. The tabs are not uncomfortably difficult to swallow, but being calcium, they are larger than other vitamin/mineral supplements. If something wonderful -- or terrible -- results from taking this supplement, I'll edit this review. :-) Edit: Oops! daughter says finger & toe nails are not made of calcium.

These capsules are so much easier to swallow! The ones I was taking previously were tablets and many of them were broken which made it harder to swallow still.

Even those these tablets were packaged with cotton in the bottle, they did not arrive intact. About half of the tablets were whole when I received them. The other half were either broken or ground into powder. I tried to use the ones which were only broken. Unfortunately they are large tablets, so they normally got stuck in or scratched my throat. It wasn’t worth the discomfort. I definitely do not recommend these tablets.

It’s easy to take. Wanted calcium citrate bc it’s better absorbed. Idk how much it helps, but I have osteopenia and was told to take a supplement by my gynecologist.

I would guess that 20% of the tablets were unusable due to breakage. Won't reorder.

The number of pills in one container considerable. You don’t have to order frequently. The directions for use are user friendly. The list of ingredients (vitamins) are complete. Absolutely no side effects.
