Great addition to bathroom remodel!
Used to use a portable heater too keep the bathroom warm in the winter. But after we remodeled I didn’t like the look of the portable heater. I paid an electrician $150 to install and wire the unit and it looks great. It only takes a 5 minutes to heat the bathroom and you can turn the heater off. Great product and I have already recommended it to family and friends.

Good but loud
The media could not be loaded. I live in a 100+ year old home with a little bathroom. Heat distribution is sub-par (by modern standards), and my poor wife freezes when she gets out of the bathtub in the winter. We bought this fan/heater combo to solve the problem, and I’m impressed with the heat output. My one complaint: it’s definitely louder than the unit it replaced. You’ll need a 20 amp dedicated breaker to power the heater. I had someone run the new line, but the installation was pretty straight forward otherwise.

Intalled easily with clear directions
Out of the box I took this apart to see all the moving parts. Turned out it is almost identical to the non working (heater fan) one in my mother-in-laws house. So I made a couple of electrical measurements and ordered the part which is still available after 20+ years. The new one was easy enough to install and wire. Heater fan noise is acceptable but not considered quiet. It's in a small basement bathroom. Heat output is plenty for a small bathroom. I installed a new timer switch as well.

Unnecessary fuse likely to disable heater.
1, the vent shutter is not designed/counterbalanced properly and may not close to block cold attic air from coming into bath room. (Poor design) engineers?????2, The fuse/thermal coupler which runs heater fanis likely to blow and disable the heater section. This part is unnecessary and can be replaced with a small piece of 18ga wire.I have had the same corresponding part fail in 2 hair dryers as well as a cordless drill charger which l repaired the same way. Probably a way to sell more hair dryers!!!! Engineers????
