I bought two of these lamps to add a little interest to my daughter's nursery and our guest room/office. They didn't disappoint, but my husband will be the first to tell anyone they were a total pain in the rear to install. I think the first lamp took two days. The second went a little faster, since he knew what he was doing that time. So - depending on your level of DIY prowess, this could be no big deal for you. Not recommended for beginners or those who aren't that into being handy. I give 5 stars for looks, he gives 1 for the installation process. Also, be warned there is a "seam" that runs along the side of the metal shade, and the lamp goes into the ceiling a certain way, so depending on that, the seam side could be the first thing people see upon entering the room. Just beware as you are installing.This does not cast a weird lacy shadow or anything, and quality of light is great. Just go into the installation process with extra patience!

First one arrived clearly refurbished due to the wear on the screws and coverings so I returned it and got a new one. Overall the light fixture is nice and modern looking which I liked as it really made my kitchen stand out. My issues with it are one the packaging lets those little static pieces go all over the place when you open it which is really annoying to clean up. My second issue is that the glass part of the light itself seems almost too small to go securely under the metal tabs which are to help hold it in place. Granted the cap screws into the base so its held in that manner but it looks a bit sloppy to have it not fit under there and catch all 3 tabs. I don't know if this is a defect but both lights I had exhibited the same issue. Overall I'm pleased with the light and I setup LED bulbs inside and it looks great.

I've been looking for a light for our basement den for a couple months now, and didnt want the same 'ol same 'ol victorian style light that has been around for the last decade. They're tired and overdone.So, let's bring back the 70's? with some modern drum lights!I picked this one up as a warehouse deal, that was very competitively priced, so it was worth the risk for me.I am happy with it.It is fairly low profile, so good for rooms with lower ceilings. I was afraid the chrome outer ring on this would kill the light, but surprisingly enough it does not. The size is good, for a medium size den, and with 3 (60w eq LED) bulbs it is sufficient to light the entire room well.Assembly was easy, and it looks good. Im happy with it.

A very good looking overhead lamp. It says the max bulb size is 60Watts, but that's way too bright. I used three LED 25 W equivalent. Total of 9 Watts actual with the LED bulbs. The circular side of the lamp has a frosted plastic inside and the bottom plate is 1/4" thick glass that's also frosted on the inside. The ceiling plate "just" covers a 4" electrical box. I had to spackle a bit around the box's corners and then touch up the ceiling paint for a really good looking job. The drop rod has enough give in the ends to allow leveling the lamp with no problem.

Lots of compliments on this fixture! I wanted a mid-century American feel to go with the kitchen in my 1966 house, and I was specifically looking for a fixture that has more than just the typical two bulbs. My son installed it for me, and I will say it's a little bit tricky with just two hands for someone up on a ladder -- but that's probably true of anything like this. Pay attention to the sequence and the parts list in the instructions. We forgot to put on the tube that covers the support piece that goes from the top of the fixture to the ceiling. When we change a bulb, we'll put that on.

These are great!!! Easy install (I'm 25 years old and did it no problem) Only part that needs a second pair of hands is installing the glass - there is no way I could have done that by myself.Also - the glass will not sit evenly. It is slightly uneven no matter what I/we did, but the fixture itself looks so great I don't mind that much. I try not to obsess over it.overall would recommend - especially for the price!>

I absolutely love this light fixture! I was looking for a light fixture for the bathroom at my salon and this one is perfect! I had seen one that was similar, but you could see the bulbs through the side. This has a mesh lining between the aluminum circles so you don't see the light bulbs. It also has a nice frosted glass bottom. It does not come with bulbs. It does say you could use 60 watt bulbs but I only had two 50 watt and it's plenty of light. I'll probably go buy3 40 watt bulbs as soon as these burnout.

Feels somewhat flimsy, but it looks nice and was easy enough to put up. The small screw cap on the bottom that holds the glass bottom in place is very thin and is somewhat awkward to put on because you don't have any finger grip room. I haven't had to change the bulbs yet because I just put it up, but I imagine that it will be a bit difficult to take on and off for bulb changes. Happy enough with purchase.

Esta lámpara era para mi hermana, ella es muy quisquillosa, pero le encantó, ilumina muy bien, la quería para su cocina y hace muy bien juego con los aparatos que son de ese color, la cocina siempre ha sido oscura, y con esta lámpara ahora tiene mucha iluminación y es muy elegante.

I bought resonable price. I like this style light.Very bright and fancy. It is 9 of 10 only for product.But, delivery was awful. 1 of 10

I liked the first one I ordered so much that I ordered another one for another room.

Quality not worth the price. Was going to place in hallway.
