Scotch-Brite ocelo Multi-Purpose Handy Sponge, Assorted Colors, 4 Sponges

Microwave sponges one minute each day after a couple quick fresh water squeezes. I use a blue Scotch-Brite sponge with a non-scratch scrub side for washing dishes and scrubbing off the table (many bubbles come out during microwaving). I use an o-cel-o sponge for wiping up water from dishwashing and any soap left on the table from scrubbing with the Scotch-Brite (usually two passes with the o-cel-o). Use a green, flat scouring pad for scraping silverware since you can easily apply it to both sides in one swipe and a firm, nylon bristle brush for scraping items with stickier substances like egg and cheese that so easily get stuck in the scouring-pad side of the Scotch-Brite sponge. With the exception of the nylon brush, I can microwave all items at the end of the day to kill bacteria that cause smells. Sometimes I throw everything into the dishwasher but always microwave at least the Scotch-Brite and o-cel-o once a day. I normally get nearly two weeks of use from each before throwing them out. I have to remind the kids often, though, to rinse the o-cel-o after wiping up water, crumbs, or coffee or ketchup (for example) because the sponges stain and quickly start to smell if not rinsed out.

Good sponges for their price, but it doesn't seem to last long, they quickly lose their shape. In general, I am happy with the purchase.

I have been using these sponges for about 5 years now and I absolutely love them. They never have an odor and about every couple of weeks I place them in a small amount of bleach just to get the stains out. Even when I do that, they do not fall apart. They last a long time. I will not buy any other sponges ever.

Although I am not a fan of sponges as they harbor bacteria like crazy, I do use them for some household cleaning projects and other things. These are fine. They are a nice size and they're thick enough not to fall apart after repeated uses. I boil my sponges in water after a few uses to keep bacteria at bay and these hold up well to that without getting weaker or tearing easily. If I HAVE to use a sponge, although these don't have any bells and whistles like a scrubby side, these work fine my needs. They come in assorted colors which is nice too.

In today's world, many things are made smaller and the cost is either the same or higher. Moving beyond beyond that issue, I will say that the "Stay Fresh Sponges are nice, but I need them a tad bit larger, these are almost too small. I bought them to use in the kitchen and bathrooms at our home to absorb the little water puddles my family leaves behind daily on the vanities and the kitchen counter tops and thus far they are sort of working out for me. I'm just disappointed with the size, because I live with two big messy goons. Oh, one more thing, the sponges appeared thin laying in the package, so I thought...when I wet them they will double in size. The did not, no expansion at all, they are half inch thick whether they are wet or dry, but who knows, they may work swell for others.

I just started using the Ocelo sponges this past month and I have to say that their claim of keeping odors eliminated from the sponge are true. After using the sponge on several surfaces and types of clean-ups like food, cat food, general spills and spots, the sponge has no odor whatsoever. I do keep it rinsed after each use and let it soak in soapy water to keep it clean and sanitized. The only drawback that I find is the price. I think its just a bit too expensive for sponges. For the same price I can get several sponges in one bag from another manufacturer and with a little help with bleach and cleaners, those sponges will last almost as long and sometimes they come in various sizes for different uses. However, everything is a trade-off in some way or another.

I like the fact of the quality of the sponges. Compared to what you would get in a supermarket. And the price is great.

Well,what can you say about a sponge? They're not made by man{they're grown in the world's oceans},so you can't say one brand is better than another.What I can say is that Ocelo is a brand we've used for years,the sponges last at least a good 6 months under everyday use{that is each sponge does{we get the 4-pack},the sponges are a nice handy size and I like that Ocelo{which is made by 3M}puts in some sort of antimicrobial technology into their sponges{meaning they resist bacterial odors}.That is something that man does,so that's good.As I said,we've used Ocelo for years.Unfortunately,the store where we shop stopped carrying them a good while back,so I order them through Amazon.Ocelo is a good,trusted brand and we will continue to use their sponges.

This is a really inexpensive, surprise item. Surprising in that they perform well as an aid in the bath/shower. Skin friendly. Better than a cloth or some of the pretentious designer sponge products out there that we've tried and were disappointed with. Stain resistant so far.

I love these sponges so much that I bought 3 packs and will be ordering more soon. They are just the right size and there is no spongy smell like some sponges I have used.

Rips more easily that Scotchbrite, my usual go to, but it's a little cheaper, so I guess it all works out.

They're soft but strong. Good product.
