I knew before I bought the arm band it would be a little big. The measurements said they would be. I also noticed other customer reviews by women that said it was big for being a small that was ordered. I love this band. I also am not afraid to put my own velcro on it to make it fit properly. There is plenty to work with. The Small size will fit a certain population just like any size does. It comes down to, do you know how to make something work better for you. I lost a lot of weight the last year. This band would have fit a year ago. There were no surprises when I put it on. The item arrived quickly and I love this item. I just gave it 4 stars because they should offer an XS version. But then it may be too small.

Pretty happy with light. Prefer to use around ankle. Does not adjust tightly enough. Velcro does not allow for a more snug fit. If on arm it slips down. Wrap too tight on arm very uncomfortable. Also when on ankle it is easy to shut off when accidentally striking band with other foot during run. Ankle and placement seems to be more visible to drivers. Headlights don't wash out glow of band light. I wish I would have designed this product. It seems to have simple limitations that were not considered during development. Aside from my review I appreciate a safety considered product for runners to feel safer on dark runs. Perhaps winter runs will allow better fit when wearing more clothing. I might not be so optimistic since winter clothing is usually quite form fitting. Please make adjustments in your design even though it's too late for me since I already own one.

Unlike its competitors' armbands, the MIxxfit Reflective Adjustable Armband is more substantial and is guaranteed to be water resistant. The band is thick, durable, and most importantly, has a VERY bright light. Please note that the order includes one armband - not two.To increase my visibility at night, I wear the band on my upper arm so that cars will notice me as I walk the dog or take an evening jog. So far, drivers respond better to the band's slow blinking light rather than the other two possible modes - the faster blink or no blink mode (continuous steady light). When wearing the armband in slow blinking light mode, I have noted that the passing cars slow down and give me more room. That is a good thing.

The picture in the listing does not reflect the really low lighting of the armand. My smartphone has a brighter, more versatile and more area than the arm band. Would use this only if there were no alternative. Would not recommend.Updated review: I purchased two of these and used one on each arm. After writing the above reviews I used my smartphone flashing light app on one arm and combined the two armbands on the other. Two makes the lighting much more effective. UPDATE 3. The more I use these the more I like them. Using 2 together is much better than 1. One band does not project a bright enough light and has a very thin field of view. With 2 I alternate the lighting sequence and the lighting and area a viewable light is much much better.

This bracelet is NOT as bright as in the picture but it does work and is easy to turn on while running and adjusts to many different sizes. It isn't irritating when you wear it so that is good. I would recommend getting more than one though if you are wanting to make sure that you are seen because they are just not as bright as they could be. They do come with different "blinking patterns" so you can leave it on or have it blink slow or fast while you are wearing it. So far, the battery seems to be holding up but this is only a month in on use.

This is a nice way to stay visible. I run in the morning. In the winter that means it is still dark. The light can be adjusted so that it is a steady glow or pulses. My one issue is that it is a little short. It goes around my arm, admittedly with a few layers in that it has been very cold, but there isn't much to spare.

My husband uses this for running at night. He was hoping to wear it around his upper arm while wearing a sweatshirt, but it's too small for that. He's been able to use it by wrapping it through his phone band, but it would be nicer if it was just a little larger or if there was some elastic. Other than that, it works very well.

I like the armband but it would have been nice to have one tiny little label or something with instructions. It took me quite some time to figure out where to press to get it to turn on. Maybe I'm old or slow, but it didn't have to be so difficult. After I figured it out, it worked very well.
