The media could not be loaded.  My friends recommended I get an infrared thermometer as it’s so quick to get an accurate reading. I looked into it and decided on this one as it also has the ear probe included - brilliant! It’s really easy to use. You do need to get your own batteries and install them. Once you’ve done that, then you just hold down the power button as you swipe from the middle of the forehead to the side (either one). Then release the power button and you have your reading! I was babysitting a one year old and the mom said she may have a fever. I was able to easily check her temperature throughout the day and monitor her so I could be aware if it became more serious (it didn’t, she didn’t go higher than 99 degrees). Even my 3 year old can use this! It also comes with a soft pouch to keep it in and can easily go from a forehead thermometer to an ear thermometer or even check the surface of things. I am really happy with this thermometer and will keep it in my first aid kit.

This appears to be a nice thermometer. At the beginning of the manual, there are simple operation instructions using EU languages. It's very friendly for people who don't use English very often. For me, there are some reasons to attract me to put five stars on this purchase.Firstly, the readings seems reliable. Accuracy is the most important thing for a thermometer in my opinion. I have bought several different brands of thermometers before. By comparing the readings of different thermometers, AKID seems to have good stability and reliability.Secondly, very beautiful appearance. Both the package and product itself make me feel satisfied. There is no significant difference between products and sellers' pictures.Next, big screen brings clear reading. Patterns, Units and Numbers. Nothing more,concise and clear.Then, batteries in the package. So I don't need to go downstairs to the store for that.Finally, both ℉ and ℃ are applicative. The decive came with ℉. By sliding the switch under the battery cover, you can freely convert between ℉ and ℃. Although my family only uses Fahrenheit, it doesn't seem like a bad thing to have one more possibility.If you need a thermometer for home use like me, this one is a good choice.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this thermometer for fever detection,however,its role exceeded my expectations.The readings seems correct on ear and forehead modes,that is what it should have done.What surprises me is the practicality of AKID in room mode.According to the manual,I have measured the room and water temperature.The process is easy and the result is reliable.I never imagined that a body thermometer could be effective in other ways, but obviously it works fine.A good experience for me.

When measuring body temperature, I chose to use an ear model because I think the forehead temperature may be more affected by ambient.The ear-type measurement was real-time measurement, short time and high speed. I compared the mercury thermometer with the thermometer, and the results were almost the same.Second, this thermometer has a memory function, and I can take the temperature of my children several times in a month as a reference to keep a close eye on kid's health, which I think is very good design. It stores 35 readings.Finally, this thermometer can switch degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature to facilitate different reading habits, I am more used to using Fahrenheit temperature, when my family has signs of fever, the LED will carry out a fever alarm. As a reminder to my family that they are ill. Even if it doesn't remind me, I'll keep an eye on it, and of course I appreciate this humanized design.

Very useful thermometer.There is a transfer switch under the battery cover that can be used to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Two temperature units are all fine. My family only use F, but C Can be used as a method to account accuracy. The ear temperature reading seems reliable.A practical recommendation: Do not embed the probe too deeply when measuring ear temperature, as this may affect the accuracy of the measurement results.

I,m a nurse in the center hospital of my city,  I must to say, this infrared thermometer exceed my expected. First of all, as the pictures shows,  I like this pink toy , you know,There is a lot of crying in Gynaecology and obstetrics, addition to it , I must to measure babies’ temp and mothers’ temp over and over again, I always get bored for that, when I take this AKID thermometer, its appearance will give me a good mood . secondly, I and doctors in my hospital department can guarantee the accuracy of this thermometer, every time I measure the forehead temp or the ear temp, readings always in a line,  just like the pictures show, although the readings have some differences, but I will tell you that body’s temp will change a little with different time and different situations, and sometimes, you can’t compare it to mercurial thermometer, because Axillary temperature is different from forehead or ear temp, every part of our body have different temp but the discrepancy can’t exceed 1.5℉. I have recommend it to doctors and nurses in my hospital ,  and they all think it is accurate and convenient by its one second reading.
