I agree with all the great reviews. Humans cannot smell or taste but apparently the dog in the house is addicted to this bone. 90 lb labrador who destroys any and all kong toys out there... very active aggressive chewer. you can hear the loud grinding sounds. but the bone is barely got scratches after months of chewing on it. the dog goes for the bone whenever he wants to rest and be happy. The bone does not break off into tiny pieces or flakes. the vet is happy with his teeth condition. Great product for the price! Never had this bone before but will always have it from now on. Strongly recommend if you have aggressive chewers.

I will preface this by saying I tried to go the "better for teeth" route. Our dog (70 lb american staffordshire terrier) could rip a nice pile of itty bitty pieces off "the most durable" kong toy in five minutes. He loves textures and will shred anything we give him into little pieces. This offers an outlet, though I am aware they can break some dogs' teeth. One bone lasts him...2-3 months before it gets too short for his mouth (5-ish inches). He chews them into lovely points ("shanks") because his favorite thing to do is chew it from all directions so he can rub the nubs on all parts of his teeth/gums. Keeps him entertained and happy and prevents him from trying to chew other things. Highly recommend, with the caveat that I've heard vets warn against these because some dogs' teeth won't stand up to chewing these, and that can result in a VERY expensive tooth extraction.

Purchased two of these on April 10th of this year and our girls LOVE them!!!! They are both Dobermans and are VERY active chewers, or should I say grinders! They only stop chewing when they are being played with, eating, sleeping or barking…hahaha! If we are on the phone people ask what that noise is and it’s our dogs chewing on these bones. That’s how hard they chew on them!They are holding up really well. They do not break off into tiny pieces like other bones do and we’ve had NO vomiting from chewing on them.Great product for the price! We will definitely be purchasing again when these need replaced!!!! Highly recommend if you have aggressive chewers!

The media could not be loaded. I am always hesitant to buy these when it's time for new ones. My vet says they are NOT Good for dogs because they are too hard and can break a tooth. But I keep buying them because my dogs LOVE them. This is especially my white pups go to. I have pretty big dogs but it still takes them months to get through these bones. I just threw the remaining small peice away after 7 months and as you can see, they are happy to have their new nylabones again.

Our bulldogs each have one of these bones. They love them. Very durable and pieces don't break off.

This is the first toy my 10 month old Malinois pup hasn't been able to destroy within the day! She loves the flavor, has even started choosing to chew on this over a bully stick. She's been chewing on it for over a month now and it's still going strong! Will be buying a few more Nylabone shapes to give her some variety.Lots of reviews mention bits flaking off and even chunks ripping off, so I consulted with both my vet and my trainer before buying. Both are experienced with this breed (very active working line, NOT good at being bored) and gave Nylabones the all-clear as long as my pup is supervised. If she rips off any chunks (hasn't happened yet) they should obviously be discarded immediately, but the bits that flake off are small enough that they're easy to digest, nothing to worry about. Getting this clarification from two trusted sources made me feel better about trying Nylabones for my power chewer, and I'm very glad I did! If you have any uncertainty I recommend doing the same, it's worth it for the peace of mind!

This thing is BIGGER than I thought it would be 🤣Pups have had it 3 days and it's holding up well! I have 2 HEAVY chewers and we just retired our "classic" nylabone after over a year. I'm hopeful for this one to last as long or longer.It doesn't squeak. Shape is odd, but the dogs seem to like it 🤣 they knew exacy what to do with it. Will buy again!

This bone is big but it is not like a real bone and my dog snubbed it right away. He likes rawhide and even dental chews but not this. In other words… know what your dog likes before buying.

My heavy chewer Bernese looooooves this toy along with her other Nylabones. They are so sturdy but I don't like how little plastic chunks fall off. That is just because she is obsessed and chews heavy on them single day. They are loud when they fall on the floor which is how I know they are durable. They last such a long time. 10000% reccomend for those with strong chewers, worth every penny

Ideal for dogs that have a big appetite. You can't give them something to eat every time or they would get way too big. So this bone is perfect for that purpose. My dog loves it!
