AEM 21-209EDK 6" Inlet x 5" Element Dryflow Air Filter

For an 09 Xterra.Since i drive in the desert a lot this dry air filter is perfect. I have a Volant CAI and was using a volant pro-5 pre on it. After 2 drives in the sand the filter was very dirty, thanks to the oil on the filter, all the sand and dirt clogged it down and washing didnt help much. That being said, the volant pro 5 does sound very good. so if you plan to use the filter for on road applications i think the volant is much better.The AEM though would be the best choice if youre into a lot of dust and sand. And it doesnt sound bad at all. Great build quality too.I'd buy again and recommend it.

Replacement for old filter, now the clean up/back up. Fit perfect, truck's breathing clean.

I have been using this filter for a year now and I have to say it is one of the best Filters I have ever purchased. Well worth the small investment for peace of mine in knowing it delivers the extra horsepower when it is needed!

Expensive for open air element, But you almost have to go with aem Dryflow. Other brands just feel cheap and perform poorly.

Fits my Volant cai perfectly. Works great with no codes or issues.

Used this on my VW 1.8t engine swap into MK2 gti. Used it in conjunction with a 6"velocity stack and it flows nice and smooth with a better sound than without the velocity stack. The dry filters are better for cars with maf sensors. No more oiled filters for my VWs.
