I bought this to try to repair a bent pin on my motherboard cpu connection, it gave me great magnification and also a direct light source. Sadly I was not able to repair the pin and the entire motherboard had to be written off (whoever had the idea to put the pins on the motherboard, I dislike them very much).That aside, this gave me a chance.It's pretty heavy due to the glass lens and it's kind of an odd shape, you have to be quite specific in how you handle it or come up with a way so it can be supported without using your hands.If used for reading I think it would be very good but the weight may work against it. For the amount of magnification you get for the price it is very good though.

A great help in close craft work , very bright. Slightly heavy but easy to use.

I liked it because it a solid well made item on the other side it makes it quite heavy.

The item itself is well constructed, but the magnification level as advertised, 30x is not correct - I would say it was only 3.0x - therefore it's of no use for my needs

Seemed cheap, magnifying glass blurry. Not worth a penny

My father is blind in one eye and partly sighted in the other. This is the best thing since sliced bread! Money well spent, just wish I'd found it sooner.
