Excellent power supply for your pedal board.
Now this is one excellently built power supply. The good people from Cioks didn't just put together this product, they have invested time to properly engineer it. I have to admit that its price tag is not bank account friendly, but seriously, after you start using it, you realize that your new purchase worth every penny. It powers high current demeaning effect pedals, tube stomp boxes, guitar processors e.t.c. Its low profile, is beneficial for every pedal board. Its high end circuitry introduces 0 noise to your audio chain. It is very light weight too. And last but not least, it looks great. Seriously, I have mounted it on the top of my pedal board just to enjoy the look of it.

Highest current power supply I could find. Works great.
Probably overkill if you just use normal pedals, but if you want large digital multieffects on your pedalboard it works great. This is the highest current power supply that I could find and it has no problem powering my Eventide PitchFactor and my Line6 HX Effects (using two outputs and a parallel current doubling cable I found on Sweetwater). Very light and mounted easily enough under my pedaltrain with the bracket (sold seperately). Highly recommended.

Dead silent. Best Power Supply on the Market.
Replaced a Voodoo Labs power supply with this and was shocked at how much quieter it is. Not saying the VL was noisy, but it certainly isn't as quiet at this. Was hesitant to spend this much coin on a power supply, but don't regret it at all. You can't put a price on having a silent rig. Having four adjustable outlets is really sweet as well.

Power for the people!
Great size and lots of mA!!!! Great for power hungry pedals.

Excellent option... but see review for possibly better ones
Absolutely excellent power supply. Does everything it is intended to do and is a wonderful option for slim pedalboards. It will fit under a pedaltrain metro or nano with dual-lock no problem. Be aware this does not use standard power cables and one must purchase cables that are compatible with this unit. In addition this unit is not expandable. For an expandable version get the cioks dc7. It is identical in every way but it is expandable and is black in color. For an expandable option that uses standard cables and still fits under a pedaltrain metro look into the strymon branded power supplies. But for its intended purpose this does an excellent job

It IS expandable
I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about when they said this unit isn't expandable. Look up the Eventide "PowerMini" for the expansion unit that can be powered by this WITHOUT even using one of its seven allocated outputs for pedals. This thing also comes with a daisy-chain cable and of course you can buy more easily. (I get extra cables from Sweetwater because they're not listed on Amazon.) I have used this unit by itself to power several Strymon pedals at once while ALSO powering an Effectrode pedal, which by itself requires 12V positive center and at least 1000 mA of current! This handles that plus other outputs running daisy-chain cables powering 3 units each, all without breaking a sweat. The only issue I have ever had with it is I found it was best not to power a Strymon Brigadier with a daisy-chain cable because the modulation in the Brigadier can be heard in the background of one of the other daisy-chained pedals even when the Brigadier is turned off. So, yes, the cables for it are not compatible with power units from other brands (Voodoo Labs, OneSpot, Walrus etc), but the vastly superior functionality and remarkably small size & light weight more than make up for that small inconvenience.

Best pedal board power supply of all time.
If you can spare the money, don’t bother with any other supply. This is the single greatest thing to happen to pedal board power supplies, ever. The only other supply you should even consider is the Cioks DC7, which has the same build and features but also adds a 24V output and costs a bit more, but that’s only if you even need a 24V output.I’ve been using Cioks supplies since forever, and I’ve often had to get creative with what I use to avoid drawing too much current. Now, there are seven outputs, all with up to 660 mA, and each of them can independently have their voltage adjusted. If you add a single GigRig Isolator using a split Flex cable, you can actually add four more isolated outputs that split a single 660 mA output. You can put together some monster boards with this supply. Anything you can imagine, you can do. You will never, ever have to keep a pedal off your board because it draws too much power. And it’s clean and light. It is lighter than a Cioks DC5. I think the only other supply you should consider is the Truetone CS6, if you have fewer pedals. And this is no afterthought in an era where USB powers everything, but the courtesy USB output is wonderful. It can charge my Shure wireless pack between sets.
