Haircolor Reddish Brown - 8OR (2 oz color 2 oz developer)

The color was perfect, just a nice copper brown. However, the reason for trying this was to try to avoid the scalp reaction (a slight burning sensation and redness)that I typically get with any hair color I have tried thus far. So if you want to try it for allergy reasons I would suggest visiting the website for a sample for patch testing.

Although this is free of some of the "bad stuff," it still has ammonia, and the fumes are quite strong. Also, I got a brassy orangish color when I applied Reddish Brown to my dark brown hair. I'm going to keep looking.

If you have any gray hair do not buy this!I have developed allergies to regular hair dye, so I decided to try this.The smell was quite pleasant- I didn't need the fan on or anything. It didn't burn or make my scalp itch. So why the bad review, you ask ?Because it turned my gray hair a weird ugly blondish color and even missed coloring some gray.I followed the directions to the T - Leaving it on 45 minutes and applying the cap and heat for 5 minutes at the beginning. All to no avail ! My hair looks terrible . Weirdest blondish whatever at the top and brownish red at the bottom.I like that it's better for the environment and it doesn't smell but it's garbage on your hair!!!
