Great buy
So I bought this for my 2004 crown victoria police interceptor. So some of the “con” that wherent an issue for me where, the intake piping was a little to short to line up with the original mounting point for the air box. I was able to get one of the studs into place and it is secure. The other issue is this come with one vacuum hose port when i needed two. Easy fix though get a 5/8” “T” connector with some 5/8” hose and its an easy fix. Now for the things that i like, i get a deeper sound from the intake. I feel as it picks up better as in more responsive but that could just be in my head. Cant complain about anything really made solid.

Excellent fitment, easy to install
Excellent fitment, easy to install. I put mine on a 2005 crown vic police. Nice growl under the hood in the midrange. Did notice a bit more pull around 2500 rpm and up. Did not change mileage for the better or worse. I would recommend this as an easy bolt on that does have a noticeable gain, and a reuseable filter.

Bolt on ready for a ford 4.6 crown vic interceptor
This is the only bolt on ready to go intake I could find that is made for my car it was worth the one day shipping and the 20 minutes to install which was digging out my tools from my truck box did two passes to recalibrate the car then ran it hard a third hit and was at 135 in a half mile and the sound it makes is amazing I have the 4.6 interceptor with stock exaust was thinking of flowmaster but with the sound this intake makes I'm thinking sleeper now keep quit till you put the pedal down then it comes to life truly five stars from me it came with free stickers and a license plate holder also

Didn't fit a 2003 Crown Vic
Didn't even come close to a good fit! They say this will fit a 2003 and up but in fact it fits a 2005 and up (i think). There is no way you can mickey this to fit, even if you could why would you its too expensive. AFE customer service is a joke, the direction say it fits, the AFE web site says it fits but customer service told me it doesn't. Asked for my number said they would get back to me they never did, left me hanging. Not sure why these are so much money there isn't much to them.

Looks nice but didn't fit
After ordering this product and receiving it, I came to find that it does NOT fit into a 2003 MGM. The System itself fit into the air intake slots perfectly, however the Mass Airflow Sensor did not fit into the hole that was milled into the new intake tube. Also, this system is setup for only one vacuum hose towards the base, whereas I had two hoses in the vehicle. So just to be warned, 03' Grand Marquis' and most likely Crown Vics... can't use this. However, it did look and sound nice when I tried it out(w/o hoses and MAF connected). So as far as the product goes I'd rate it pretty decent!

Works great but it changes some things
2006 Ford Crown Victoria - It was easy to take off the old air intake and put this one on. The only issue is that the pipe almost seemed a little too short and you have to make sure it’s turned in such a position that the Mass Air Flow sensor can connect because the original wiring only has so much length. It makes this a tight fit. Other than that, the sound and the little bit of power it adds are good. My only question is why after I installed this, is my car is now harder to start? Before the air intake, it started right up every time. Now I have to turn it over twice and put some gas into it to get it to not turn off. Once the engine is warmed up, if I turn off the vehicle I can turn it right back on without have to attempt to turn it on multiple times. Anyone have any answers as to why it’s doing that?Update as of 9/8/21:I did end up getting the vehicle remotely tuned by Mo’s Speed Shop in Georgia shortly after my initial review so the car would accept the intake and turn on right away without hassle or throwing codes. These intakes 100% need to be tuned to the vehicle or will give you problems. Which was not told to me by AFE when I spoke with them. However, I still like it and she is still running good. When you need that tune, call Mo’s speed shop and they will help you out remotely. I’m in PA and they do it over the phone and laptop.

Stick with your stock setup.
Shipped very quick. Great packaging. Poor low end power. Causes drivability issues with lower rpm. Sounds great. I ended up reinstalling the stock airbox and corrected said issues. Overpriced and would not buy again.
