I am 5’3” and 200 Lbs. I like my clothes loose and flowing. I usually buy a 2X but I sized up to 3X because I wanted something cool and comfortable to dive into when i get home from work. This dress is perfect. Material is soft and stretchy. And I’m glad I sized up to get the flowy look. If you want it to be more form fitting— I would think your true size would work. The length on me is several inches longer than it appears in the picture, several inches below mid calf. Hope this helps some trying to figure out what size to buy. The dress is perfect for my purposes I’m going to order several more in different colors.

Comfy, breathable, just what I needed.But I could have gone down like I size or two only because it looked a little to boxy like in the size I ordered. But I still really like this dress made me feel really good ❤

SEVERAL dresses from amazon and this one checks all the boxes.I’m 5’8; around 275; Apple shaped with big ole’ hooters; small hips and butt.I sized up one-Went with the 5x instead of the 4x.It fits like my 26/28 swing dresses from Lane Bryant for comparison.(I do like my dresses loose, but I also have a big belly. FYI)The sleeve is just right fit, not too tight, not too loose, stops right at my elbow.The neckline is curved about 2 inches below my neck and shows no cleavage (which I want, at work)The fit is perfect on my chest, then flows away majestically to form the “swing” that’s so popular these days. Hemline is mid-knee for me.The material feels soft and light, but not thin or cheap.I got the charcoal, but I am going to buy all the others, with the exception of the lighter colors...I’d likely size up 2 sizes for those and wear a slip.... so I’ll likely stick to the darker colors.

This worked great for my fat arms and belly. It will be a great dress for lounging around the house. If I wanted to wear it out I would want to add a scarf or a vest or at least a chunky necklace. The turquoise is a nice rich color.

I purchased this dress and really was pleased. There was no description as to how long the length was so I took a chance.Sellers on Amazon should really display ALL measurements for clothing. I do not care how tall the model is in selling picture...who knows if she is long legged or short legged? The buyer needs to know the measurement...I don't think that is too much to ask. But it was just the right length, even though the person this was for was only about 5 ft tall, if that? It came mid calf. The actual measurement is just under 47 inches for those of you who need to know. The only think I did not like was that the hem was not straight but somewhat wavy...but it is not described as being so in the description. Some hems now are designed to be wavy...which I do not care for. I really think this one is suppose to be straight...but it is just not. Still, for the wearer of this dress, compliments were received.

I needed something comfortable to wear home after abdominal surgery. The dress is a nice material, not thin and see through. It is a great length and has pockets. Perfect for my needs.

I needed something big and comfortable with pockets to depart the hospital in and visit the doctor after abdominal surgery. This was perfect. Stretchy but not tight. It fell mid calf on my 5’2” self. Pockets were the perfect size for my cell and tissues. I may wear it with some jewelry and a cardi after it serves it’s purpose. Washed well too

To help others - expect this to look a little like pajamas. I'm 5'6" and it came well past my knees. There was no shape to help with my curves. It just looked big and boxy. On the plus side it was very soft and comfortable. I'm thankful for Amazon's easy return process.
