I have very heavy, thick curly hair. These don't pinch or rip my hair out and wrap around my thick ponytail easily. At night I wrap my curls up on top of my head and in the morning there's no line/dent from the spiral barret's placement. These are expensive for what they are and are getting more and more difficult to find.

I would say these aren't really worth the price. I have quite thick hair and these didn't do much for it. Apparently the spiral is supposed to keep the barrette in place, which it doesn't do very well for me. Not super quality either, rather soft metal. I've had better luck with corkscrews for buns as well. Not bad, just not great

I bought a set of these. They actually threw in an extra set because it took them a while to fill the order. The design is a great idea for fine hair. The only problem is that the clasp has no hinge. So in order to get your hair into it you have to bend the wire. The wire is fairly delicate and I'm sure it will break after some number of uses.

These take a little practice but they are effective. They don't keep my shorter, looser strands in tact, however they are gentle on my fine hair.

I was so excited when I saw these because I used to have one and I LOVED it...but these ones were just okay at best. Your hair doesn't really go into the coils like it is supposed to.

I finally found a barrette that lets me twist my hair and then barrette it without the darn barrette springing open! I will be ordering another set because I have layers in my hair and I can use two of each as I twist and barrette sections of my hair. This is a great idea/product. You will not be disappointed!

have not used these as with my long hair I see no use or value ...maybe good for a child

I lost my hairclip that I had used daily more than 15 yaers!And I found with google the spyral clip !They are great , strong , nice and wonderful !!!Noor
