The t7 bulb is quite short so I was worried that an LED equivalent would not be adequate. I tried several different brands and I either return them or threw them into the trash because they were lame. These are excellent. They make plenty of light, give off next to no heat and use very little energy. These are the only ones that I would recommend.

My ceiling fan used a dim halogen bulb. I'm getting to be an old geezer and have cataracts so don't see well in low light. I already had the highest wattage halogen bulb available in the fan.This LED bulb had higher lumens so I decided to try it. The only problem I had was fitting it into the holder on the fan. It was the right size but due to the ceramic heat sink design on the LED bulb I had to grind down some of the ceramic on two edges to get the bulb to rotate into place. I only had to remove about 1/16th from two of the edges and it fit. It is much cooler than the halogen and is a good bit brighter.. I like the bulb and hope it lasts a few years

One of these replaced a similar 10w LED that started to flicker after 9 years. It is noticeably brighter than the 10 watt and we’re not sure that it may be too bright. It is not used as a dimmer. Hope it lasts as long as the one it replaced

The Familite R7S 5W bulbs bulbs burned out in less than a month

Purchased these bulbs to replace halogen bulbs in 2 wall sconces. Good fit, easy to install, provided a nice amount of light. They worked great for exactly a year then starting flickering pretty bad. These bulbs were used daily for 1-2 hours each day, so 730 hours.

They fit like a glove in my ceiling fan light. And much more brighter than the halogen.

The Familite R7S LED Bulbs provide the same mount of brightness as my 150 W halogen bulb using one only tenth of the power. The color temperature also matches my current lighting very well. Nice investment for those who are energy conscientious.
