BOSS Audio Systems BAB10 Amplified Car Subwoofer - 1200 Watts Max Power, Low Profile, 10 Inch Subwoofer, Remote Subwoofer Control, Great for Vehicles That Need Bass But Have Limited Space

This little Sub is very mighty for its size. It can easily fit under your passenger seat and was quite easy to set up. The sound is pretty good for the price, but I would definitely get 2 if you have an SUV or something bigger.

I ordered this to add some bass to my 2013 Mustang GT that has the base stereo. I already upgraded the factory speakers and added an amp, and that improved the sound quality. I installed this unit in the trunk since the amp is there so I have access to power, trigger wire, and the speaker inputs. It definitely sounds better with this unit. I may try to move it to under the passenger seat to get the full effect.

I bought this and installed it about 3 months ago. On my way for a long road trip and it just died. I contacted the seller for replacement and they just said contact Boss. They can't just get me a replacement and RMA the bad one with Boss? I can understand if it had been a year or more, but 3 months? Not buying anything from Boss or this seller again.

I wanted something that would add some low end without taking up much of my already small trunk space and this has delivered. Very pleased with the sound, especially given the compact size and the affordable price.

True to Boss Audio, the wattage claims on this are grossly exaggerated. 800 watts RMS, 1200 peak. Oh my! It’s got a 25 amp fuse folks! On a 12 volt system that’s about 300 watts max!I think a lot of consumers still buy these knowing Boss is full of it on claims but the gear is good enough for the cost.I wanted just a little thump for my pickup truck system. Space in my vehicle behind and under seats is scarce. This thing will not blow your long hair around as you lose permanent hearing, it will shake your rear view mirror however.Overall, after a little over a year, I’m happy with this purchase. There may be better alternatives. I wouldn’t know because I haven’t listened to any of those. But this FITS in my space. It’s easy to install. Overall, it’s plenty good enough. My wife and dad find it “annoying.” My kids love it. That’s probably the best review I can offer.

OH MY, This thing is a power house! First out of the box it is kinda heavy so it will stay in place when mounting and is very well protected big win when under a seat! The BAB10 has very good connection for the power/remote/ground for under seat placement, down facing connections means less disconnections from feet or in my case monster cans so problem’s with wires minimized. Sound is impressive the Lowe’s hit really good I was impressed even with the LPF on and down to 50Hz it was crisp and clean!! Like I said in the beginning I’m impressed with the BAB10 with a MSRP of $139.99 this the best bang for your buck. If you’re looking for big bass in a small space start with the BAB10 first!! Pair it with the BOSS audio kit2 8 gauge amp install kit works great also. Thank you enjoy!
