The scrapers are essential to all potters but particularly so to hand-builders like me. I like Xiem tools because they are extremely durable, staying smooth and flexible for life.The paddle is perfectly smooth wood, light and easy to work with and the neoprene sock on the handle makes it comfortable and secure to hold.

I use this tool all the time in my crafts.

I am a just learning to throw pottery at 75. I have weakness with my hands and wrists due to an accident and I have been looking for some kind of therapy to help. Throwing pottery is great and this paddle helps me center my pieces and will help to bring strength back to my hands and wrists. My instructor recommended using the paddle and I am so glad he did!

I’m going to an art university in SF. First time trying out clay sculpture. The instructor really loved this paddle. I gave him mine, and bought another one from this company. If you want some real business I suggest you give some to the art instructors so they can promote the paddle to their students… other than that it’s a pretty fine grip.

New to pottery. Tool is easy on hand, great to tap on clay and shape project. Large size is just right for my beginner skills.

It’s refreshing when things come as shown. Got another one from “chineseclay “ that it was so thin it broke after a month. Not to badmouth them, they got some good products but not this.
