Raw Rev Vegan High-Protein Bars, Mixed Nuts & Chocolate Chip, 11g Plant Based Protein, 10g Fiber, 1.6 Oz, (Pack of 12)

I inhale these bars. Being dairy and gluten allergic, there aren't many bars that I can enjoy. This bar is not available in stores, so I subscribe and save every month. These bars are my sweet treat in the evening and/or for a quick on the run breakfast. The sugar, calories and carbs are low and the protein content is good. The chocolate, caramel and salt combination along with the cashew and chia seeds are a great combination. I always have at least two in my backpack to energize me when I am on the go!We first got introduced to this product line at a trade show three years ago. Raw Rev was there again this year. I tried out all of the bars, including the brownie bar, and this is still my favorite. The chocolate mint bar is my second favorite.UPDATE: Unfortunately, the price has gone up so much on this product from this seller that I am going to be ordering from another supplier.

Of all of the snack/protein gluten free bars I've tried, this tops them all. They are moist and flavorful, and not overly sweet. They were too expensive at our local health food store, but by purchasing them here the price comes to $1.175/bar. I love to have a bar that will travel well, this will; tastes like a TREAT, this does; no risk of "melting", this won't; is a good energy boost; this is; and is gluten-free, YES.It is now my go to special day treat, my travel-in-the-back country snack and booster. I think I'll have to hide them from hubby, who doesn't need to eat gluten free, or tell him, "They don't taste good, but [SIGH], since I have to eat gluten-free it's better than nothing!" just so he'll keep out of my stash! ;)

These taste pretty good for such a low sugar content. Some of the bars were very oily. I could turn the opened package upside down and oil would drip out of some of them. The expiration date on the package was good and they did not sit out in the heat for any length of time.

I used to love these bars and bought them all the time. I loved almost all the flavors. I took a break from them for awhile and then recently decided to buy another box, not realizing they changed the recipe. Holy moly it tastes awful now. It takes like it's gone bad or stale or something. In the garbage they go. I've had this with a few bars where they change the recipe and call it "new and improved". Yeesh. Just leave a good thing alone folks.

I highly recommend the Raw Rev Brand, but I don’t like this flavor. It melts really easily and the taste is just okay. My personal favorite is the Birthday Cake flavor, but they are really difficult to get through Amazon. I recommend getting a Variety Pack to start with so that you can see which flavors you like…

I like these for what they do NOT have - eggs, wheat and milk. Many protein bars on the market contain egg whites, whey and wheat, so I am happy to have these. They are not overly large and sugary as some bars can be, which works for me because I count Points and have no need for massive quantities of protein, which an athlete or body builder might have. Every so often I want a little something to get me through the morning, and these bars are satisfying and tasty. The Mixed Nuts, Caramel & Sea Salt is my personal favorite. I buy the 12 bar boxes from Amazon to save cost as compared to the prices at the local organic food co-op.A caveat: the label states that these bars are produced on machinery that may have been used for other products containing dairy, wheat, eggs and/or nuts. My wheat allergy is severe, but Raw Rev bars have never triggered a flare in my case. Depending on the severity of your food allergy, you might wish to proceed with caution.

My first box was so good I purchased a few more. Granted when I re-purchased, each box was $5 cheaper!!! 1 of the boxes had oil spots on the outside. This is my second experience receiving the bar boxes with oil spots. It's kind of gross to open the box and inside is slimey!!! The first time I tried to return them because clearly the packages weren't sealed properly causing oils to escape. Amazon refunded the box. This time I received the oily boxes no "return or refund" offered. So not sure how I feel about eating a product that I know is open somewhere AND is raw! There's no way of know which bar has the leak. As a nurse I know I could be putting myself at risk so best to chuck the whole box. I may have risked it if the product wasn't "raw". Safety first! That being said, they are delicious when you're not worried about getting food poisoned.

I really love these bars!! They have such a great flavor, and so many ingredients which satisfy my taste! The texture is so creamy! They are wonderful to keep on hand for a quick, pick me up! I am traveling on the road a lot so I keep them, some of them, in my car for when I get hungry between meals. Very good price for the value!
