2012 1 oz CHINA PANDA SILVER COIN, 1 troy Oz, .999, with mint capsule

Two of mine have scratches and the other two were light. Although they were relatively cheap in price they are also not well made or previously handled.

I've ordered 4 coins. These are high quality fakes. All the details are much sharper than the real coin, too sharp; they also have slanted reeding. The capsules are made of lower quality than the real one and also feel edgy. These coins are not magnetized and only weight 28 grams. They came inside sealed plastic pouch (real coins after 2006 come in sheet of 30 coins w/o individual plastic pouch). Make sure you check them carefully.The seller did refund my money though.

The coin I received does not resemble the image of the product displayed and is a fake. The identifying characteristic of a genuine coin is that the '1oz Ag .999' imprint is readily visible and stands out clearly from the background. Fake coins mess up big time with the areas at the bottom and top. If you zoom in on the product's image - the coin being shown is the genuine one. So if you previously got one check and see. good luck.

Bough this for someone else. But what woman doesn't like a panda. She will enjoy for years to come in the future.

I have been collecting these coins for years, they are the best of the best and will be a good investment for the future. I'm very happy with the seller, I have bought two more recently and plan to buy more in the future. I recommend this coin to any coin collector.

If your investing in silver, then you build up your stack with generic .999 silver which comes very close to spot price. Generic silver tends to be ho-hum and rather bland. To keep things interesting I always buy high quality silver coins/rounds. The Panda coin is an absolute must have coin....
