Sensitive skin
I like this product because most moisturizers make my eyes water, even if I don’t get near eyes. This doesn’t do that to me.

Lightweight and quick relief for chapped skin
My daughter brought a jar of this to my her dad one evening after he’d spent an entire day in the wind at a fire scene. His face and lips were so chapped and wind burnt and he credits this gel for bringing him almost instant relief and allowing him to rest that evening at the fire station. I ordered him his own jar to keep at the station, right away. A bit pricey but worth it.

Lightweight gel cream perfect for warmer months.
I first bought this in Trader Joe's for $9 last summer (2019), but thought it was worth it to spend a few extra dollars for this on Amazon. It came with a vacuum seal plastic wrap, like it does at TJ's.I am oily and acne prone, and always turn to a gel cream moisturizer during the warmer months. This gel cream has great spreadability and somewhat of a silicone feel. The smell is a little weird at first, but nothing rancid. The best I can describe it is "generic." I am sensitive to smells and this doesn't bother me at all. I got used to it quickly. On the skin, it feels hydrating, cooling, and comfortable. I usually use a quarter sized amount (mostly because of how good it feels to apply) but you could definitely use less if you need to. Dryer skin folks might want to layer an oil-based moisturizer on top, but since I'm quite oily, I find that simply my SPF (Nivea Water Gel Cream) suffices to keep moisture locked in.

Definitely moisturizes and smooths but not fragrance free
I loved the feel of my skin within an hour of the first application. It is lightweight. However, it is not fragrance free. I woke up in the middle of the night trying to figure out what I was smelling and noticed I was stuffed up. I am very sensitive to scents. Even though something is natural it doesn't meant it can't cause breathing issues for me. I finally realized it was the aloe and green tea smell. I washed my face and waited a day or two before trying it again only this time I tried it in the morning. Same thing. In my opinion, the product does what it says but it is not fragrance free for those who are sensitive to any amount of scent.

My Skin Loves This
This has been the first moisturizer that my skin has loved. There isn't really a scent and it is super lightweight which are two of my favorite things.

Caused irritation, overpriced, healthy ingredients in minimal concentrations.
This made my face break out so bad! I wanted to try a more natural product for moisturizer, and when I first started using it and noticing break out, thought it was because of wearing a mask at work everyday (I’m a nurse practitioner), or my face was just getting used to it. My skin continued to get worse and worse, and finally my 10-year-old daughter commented that she didn’t like this moisturizer because every time she uses it, she gets red dots on her face. I realized that she was probably onto something, smart little lady, and I stopped using it. Within a few days all of the bumps and clogged pores started to get smaller and resolve. Such a bummer, because I thought it was a good natural product. I googled if this moisturizer made anyone else’s skin break out, and found a pretty good review that says that all the natural, healthy ingredients the label boasts about containing are in super small amounts, and verified this by reading the ingredient label. Sure enough, healthy ingredients are listed towards the end of the list, which I’m sure most people are aware ingredient labels are listed in order of concentrations starting with the highest to the lowest. This product has a lot of silicone in it which is totally irritating my sensitive skin and inflammation is causing break outs and zits! Not to mention it is way overpriced on Amazon, and Trader Joe’s sells it for like $8.... I hope this helps.

Not very hydrating
It makes my face feel and look smooth but it isn’t doing anything to help the dry patches I have that are mainly on my inner cheeks near my nose, and I use this twice a day. I like that it doesn’t leave a greasy shiny film. I’d give it 3.5 stars just because it’s advertised as “ultra hydrating” even though it’s more like "very-lightly-if-even-at-all hydrating."
