Works wonders!
I was a little concerned about a 12" blade only having 8 teeth, but, I was wrong! This blade was a Godsend. It performed flawlessly throughout my entire siding job. I tried a regular blade to make a couple of cuts on some pieces a year or so ago, and in the 5 cuts I made, the regular blade was TOAST. This blade worked like new from the first cut to the last cut on this complete siding job. The 8 teeth, I was worried about, cut the fiber cement siding smooth as silk. Would I buy this blade again? Absolutely, if I would ever need another one (I don't plan on doing another siding job, But I'll keep the blade, just in case my mind gets changed for some reason).

Worked on house shingles
I needed this for an old siding job. Had to cut old asbestos shingles and new fiber cement replacements. Worked really well on both. Left clean edges.

Expensive, works well
Cuts Hardi-board like butter. No noticeable wear after an entire 36x44 shop's worth of siding. Works great if you have a chopsaw capable of running it. Wish it'd been just a bit cheaper, but didn't want to cheap out and end up with bad cuts.Dusty when cutting, adding water and/or vacuum works well to mitigate. Slow, steady pressure cuts cleaner.

Works great on a battery powered circular saw!
I put one of these on a 20v DeWalt XR Circular Saw to cut some Hardie Backer and let me tell you that using this blade this is a million times easier and more accurate than scoring and snapping the board, and it doesn’t seem to be any harder on the battery than cutting 3/4” OSB or 2x6’s. The 8ah battery had plenty of power to make multiple full length 60” cuts and the blade held up very well. It does generate a ton of dust if you’re using it to cut backer board, so definitely consider doing it outside and misting the board with a hose before making the cut and wear glasses and a respirator. Huge time saver for me though and worth the mess and I was really impressed with how well it worked on a battery operated saw.

Excellent for cutting hardie cement board
I saw a number of negative comments about this blade and they almost put me off buying it. I’m glad they didn’t. I bought this to cut Hardie board 0.42”, which is extremely hard to cut cleanly by scoring. I installed the blade in my table saw and connected my shop vac to suck the dust and I have to say that this blade did a great job. Very clean cuts. In fact it goes through hardie board like a hot knife through butter, but in fact it never got hot. Maybe the other negative reviews are due to trying to cut siding, I’m not sure. I would highly recommend this blade. Really enabled me to make precise cuts for my wall installation in my basement.

Dull and Hard, Rough Cutting
I was desperate after struggling with scoring and snapping 0.42 3 X5 Hardee Backer Cement Backerboard on my remodeling job. Then, just for the heck of it I tried a cheap framing saw blade in my 6 1/2" Dewalt cordless circular saw, which worked pretty well. But thought if I'm going to now cut this way going forward, I need a proper blade. Purchased the Norske Diamond Fiber Cement blade. Fast deliver! Unfortunately, very disappointed. It was difficult to cut, and the few inches I did cut left the underside all chewed/hacked up. What could I possibly be doing wrong? Saw was working fine. Decided to go back to the simple framing blade (Diablo 24t) which cuts easily and cleanly. Probably won't last but for only about $10 per blade who cares? Appreciate any comments.

Best blade for the value. best blade overall!!!
excellent blade! will definitely buy again! cut a ton of prepainted hardie with it using my cordless 20v max saw and it works amazingly well! like a hot knife through butter! also the blade feels a little thicker than most so there's no blade travel when doing long cuts or whatever.... a seasoned contractor will understand the reference...
