Basically a copy and paste...
This book is basically a copy and paste of every other tarot book I've read, but with an incredible number of typos and the formatting was really weird. I don't understand how it got such great ratings. I'm pretty sure this was typed up in a Microsoft Word document. It's also nothing like a workbook, which it states it is: "The #1 Workbook...". I'd recommend "Tarot for Beginners: A Holistic Guide to Using the Tarot for Personal Growth and Self Development". It's cheaper and has way more to offer. Do yourself a favor and skip this book.

It's okay but not great.
It's a okay guide for studying Tarot cards but this book has some major flaws. Let me give you some pros and cons to be able to better explain to you what I'm talking about.Pros:* Gives you the history of Tarot cards.* Has pictures for every cards.* Gives meanings behind colors in different cards.* Shows a few different spreads.* Tells you how to cleanse your cards.Cons:* Lacks all and any meanings for reversed cards which is extremely important since reversed cards have a different meaning then when they are upright.* Has typos that are simple and annoying. All and all this isn't terrible but with the lack of having any meanings for reversed cards it's very disappointing. Reversed cards are very important to readings and without being able to learn the reversed meanings for cards in this book it is literally lacking half of everything there is to learn for the meanings of every single card in a tarot deck.I have a couple other books on tarot cards thank God. I did like the fact there was pictures for every cards and she explained the meanings behind different colors in the Rider-Waite tarot deck which I didn't know before. I do believe learning the meanings behind colors will help me in my journey to being able to fully master Tarot for once and for all.

Didn't like Audible Version
The printed book may be very good. However, I didn't like the narrator of the Audible book & returned it. It was quite rushed & I just didn't like her voice. It got on my nerves. I listened to about 30 minutes of it & returned it. The Kitchen Table Tarot is great on Audible.

A poor guide to the Rider Waite deck
A poor guide to the Rider Waite deck without reversal definitions which Arthur Waite wrote for each card. There is a reason he wrote reversal definitions. He wrote a specific meaning to each card's reversal and it is not simply a lessor energy to the upright version. There is a lot of laziness in Tarot writers, readers and study these days. This book is an example of that laziness. The many 5 star ratings for this silly book is further examples of the "be a Tarot reader in a weekend mentality."
