Our dancer tried these for the first time as a lot of the advanced girls in her studio use these. Dancing 6 days a week often had her bloch or cape zip tights looking snagged, fuzzy, grey on the foot, holes at the seams, and otherwise needing replacement within the month. Tights are costly when you factor those issues in, however these tights are woven and last way longer. They have great stretch and the waistband feel more comfortable. These are by far the longest lasting tights in all our years dancing.

My daughter dances for 20-30 hours a week and these tights are up to that challenge! She needed this specific style for a performance 2 years ago and has not used anything else since then. Even with frequent use, they last a LONG time. They are even high enough quality to repair when they eventually get a hole. But don't worry, this doesn't happen quickly or frequently!

I'm a seasoned dance mom (not that kind) and have bought at least 20 pairs of these transition tights. They are the gold standard for ballerinas. You want the mesh kind, with seams, with an open/transition foot. Get them in the light pink, not the theater pink. The quality is great, but runs do happen, so I always buy them sets of 2-3. If treated well, they can last up to a year a piece. Also, I find more sizing options and cheaper pricing on Amazon for these tights as I do at our local dance store.

For the 10 years I did ballet, I always used Body Wrappers. They are super durable and comfortable. Fast forward another 10 years, when I need high quality tights, I go back to Body Wrappers. I bought these a burlesque routine where I wanted a natural leg color under stage lights and these worked perfectly. The ballet pink is a pinker pink and does not look as washed out under stage lights. These tights are also super warm and I anticipate using them in everyday wear in the colder months. Exactly what I was looking for!
