Awesome movie. Lots of music, but not a musical. My husband doesn’t like musicals but really enjoyed this movie. Great story.

I just love this movie! I could watch over and over again! Also fabulous soundtrack!

It wasn't a great movie but it was fun.

Well done as a karaoke competition expose, this is not the worlds greatest movie but it is a lot of fun and you will especially like it if you enjoy good music and singing karaoke! I would like to shout out to Huey Lewis and Paul Giamatti they really make this movie work. In spite of a so-so plot the movie moves right along and makes its point about how vital karaoke can be to certain people! They end the viewer can also learn some life lessons along the way.

I like Gwyneth Paltrow in this. I love to hear her sing. Huey Lewis is not the best actor on the block but seemed to get better as the movie progressed. I would recommend it as it was very entertaining. The end will really surprise you. When we watched the outtakes we saw scenes that would have made the movie make much more sense. Not sure why they didn't leave them in. When we watched them we were like, Wow, ok, now it makes sense why this happened and why a character acted a certain way.

I love this film the connections between the couples involved was so touching with the compassion and growth of each one was beautiful, then the singing fabulous, and a whole new respect for Gwenth beautiful voice, but my absolute favour was Paul and Andre singing try a little tenderness, the connection as they sing a little look a touch, and there voices, made me smile from ear to ear, and my eyes fill at the same time, visual respect and love.... If I am down I just play that over a few times and it will always life me... The only down side was my sender took a month to get it to me, I think we should be told, that but of course it was worth waiting for.

As a personal fan of (bad) singing - bad meaning I'm a bad singer - this film appealed to me because of the karaoke aspect to it. This film made me cry. I also enjoyed the singing. And Scott Speedman, one of the few who doesn't sing, is as dreamy as ever.

It's not multi region so doesn't play in my UK region DVD player. So sadly cannot watch it.

I believe this movie was the last film directed by Gwyneth's dad, Bruce Paltrow. I didn't have any expectations of this movie but I thoroughly enjoyed it this film, particularly the performace by Paul Giamatti.Very good and Gwyneth does a good version of Cruisin' with Huey Lewis.

A quirky film with some good music. If you enjoy a good story with a difference this is for you. Some excellent performances.
