It was my fun Saturday morning without a TV
I really enjoyed it. It may not be the high art some might expect but the work is much better than the bazoka joe artwork in comics that managed to capture many generations of readers. It was an easy read and just a fun afternoon for me. I could actually write pages and pages on why readership takes off for some titles and not others, but I don’t plan on boring anyone about it, the movie “Cloud Atlas” had a very good segment about the print industry and I how certain titles can just take off, I recommend watching the movie but not all the steps to become famous in the print industry. Come to think of it, most of the alien stuff that came out in the 80 and early 90’s can’t be found anymore, so enjoy Dinosaucers while you can. When I read some reviews I was actually kind of upset, a lot of love went into the original series from my perspective and sometimes when a critic loves an original work so much they balk at a reboot, but then go out and buy the comic anyway and privately enjoy it without admitting to their friends they have it in mint condition in their bedroom.

Missing the magic
With your redesign, I think you lost what made it work to begin with. The OG version was fine, they just needed to have real drama instead of playing baseball against each other. Btw, glad it's available on Prime but give us a physical release :) And maybe get w Super 7 or Funko to create figures.

Not the series
It has little or nothing to do with the beloved TV series. Somebody with an ego decided he could "improve" on that, & created this sad mess. For the collector only.

A YA version of the Scooby Doo gang meeting dino versions of the TMNT
When a planet populated by dinosaurs is devastated by climate destruction, the tyrannical leader looks to Earth for food and water. But a resistance group has also been forming on the planet, and they see the opportunity to rise up both in the absence of their leader on their planet and against him on Earth. A group of smart millenials working to end climate change on Earth who call themselves the Secret Scouts join forces with the resistance to try and save the Earth from the invasion of evil alien dinosaurs. This reads like a B scifi flick in graphic novel form. That's not a bad thing. There are many fans of B scifi flicks, and I'm not opposed to them myself. The plot of this is a little rushed in pacing, though has just enough development to be entertaining. The characters and dialogue are a bit cheesy, but you definitely get the feeling that that's on purpose (especially when they mention things like sending a giant dinosaur to Tokyo because they don't seem to deal with those well). It seems like the Dinosaucers have been around for several decades from some things I've read but this volume is definitely a new episode or revamped because the world leaders are current (2019) world leaders. (And mostly pokes fun at those that appear.) The whole thing definitely gives off the vibe that it's meant to entertain, but doesn't take itself too seriously. It feels kind of like a YA version of the Scooby Doo gang meeting dinosaur versions of the Teenage Mutant Turtles and taking on evil dinosaurs. If that sounds like your cup of tea, then you should rush out there and find a copy of this. Also recommended to B scifi fans who like comics and graphic novels.Notes on content: 5-7 minor swear words. No sexual content beyond a kiss. Deaths mentioned but none actually shown on page.I was provided with an advanced copy by the publisher with no expectations or stipulations.
