3D Touch Auto Leveling Sensor Auto Bed Leveling Sensor Touch Smart Sensor for 3D Printers Improve Printing Precision

I added this sensor to my Longer LK4 3D printer. For a BL Touch clone, I am very happy with how well it has worked. The glass print bed that came with my LK4 is horribly warped. It has many high and low spots so I was plagued with leveling and adhesion problems.Adding this sensor hasn't completely solved my issue with my warped print bed (I am replacing the glass as well) but it has made a tremendous difference. I don't have an issue with adhesion (outside of the ordinary) and my first layer goes down considerably smoother. I am happy with it's accuracy.This kit does not come with any instructions so you will need to independently research how to add a BL Touch to your specific printer model.

Do not buy this piece of trash it is complete garbage doesn’t work since day one don’t waste your money by the actual brand and save yourself some grief in time when you buy cheap is what you get

I purchased this to upgrade a cheap inductive probe and I didn't want to spend the money on a "real" touch sensor. I can't compare it the more expensive one, but in my experience it's been reliable and seems to have good repeatability. Installation was kind of tricky, if you need to the extension cable (more than likely you will) you need a crimper for the connectors. I just the cut and soldered the extension into place, it works but was inconvenient. Also since I was upgrading from a completely different probe I had to design a mount, which wasn't a big deal because I was already designing a new X carriage. All in all I would say if you're a handy person and want to save a few bucks, this is a good probe to get.

This probe is a replacement fro a probe that had the probe end bent when it crashed into the print bed.It uses the same plugs and connections, plugs right in and works out of the box.This probe also crashed (i had the switch (blk/wht) wires backwards. Although the probe bent, it didn't break, and I was able to straighten it out again without issue.The build quality is good, and the packaging includes all mounting hardware and extension cables, well packed in a box with a foam insert.

The only issue I had was that the wire colors did not match any of my documentation. I was able to determine the Green wire is Brown in my documentation, the Yellow wire is Orange in my documentation and Red is Red. The Black and White wires were also normal. I have cycled this unit about 200 times and it has had no issues. It is about 1mm shorter than my other 3D Touch units, so I had to shim it.The addition of a micro JST style connector to attach the leads is fantastic. That along with the inclusion of a second wire bundle of 1 meter in length with JST style connectors ready to install really made this worth while.Anyone having issues with a 3dTouch unit not working should double check the Black and White wires -- THEY ARE POLARITY SENSITIVE.

I purchased this on July 9, 2020. It is now September 10, 202 and it is not working. Actually hasn't worked for the last week. The pin still goes out and in when it is supposed to (during G29) but the results are very inaccurate and very inconsistent. At first it worked great and my prints were good but not now. All indications point to an un-level bed but the ruler and calipers say the bed is level. I am past my return window(30days) so I will just toss this in the trash and get a real BLTouch. I should have done that in the first place. It is only $10 more.

Don’t waste your money on a BLTouch clone. I’ve tried two and I shipped both back when they failed more than 60% of the time. I’ve been running a BLTouch for a month now with only occasional issues.Edit: nearly a year and still almost no failures on the genuine BLTouch. Save yourself a headache.

With the autolevel feature, this works wonder for the FL Sun i3 plus that I've had for years. The inductive probe that originally came with the unit had worked well until I added a 3mm glass plate. Switching to this unit made adhesion more consistent. It's not as pricey as the original BL touch, but it works quite well.

An sich ein toller Sensor, der einem das Bed levelling erspart, wenn, ja wenn man den sensor richtig geleveled hat.Das ist ein wenig mühsam. Aber ohne geht nicht. Empfehlenswert nur für Leute die zumindest wissen was marlin ist und wie man seinen Drucker flasht. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: bei einigen Druckerboards geht danach das Display nicht mehr, weil das kompilierte Marlin sonst zu groß wird.

Tested this just wired to a new SKR 1.4 board, without actually connecting it to my printer yet (since it's in the middle of a print). It seems to work just like it should, right off the bat. I simply connected the three plugs to the SKR board as described for the BLTouch, flashed the firmware with BLTouch enabled, and was able to run a probe and see the probe popping in and out, etc.I'll update this if there are any problems with accuracy once set up on the printer. So far, it seems like a great, better value option than a BLTouch.

Fournis avec des vis de montage.Gros plus comparer au autres BL touch il est vendu avec un rallonge de câbles d'un mètre.- : Les fiches de connections à la carte mère sont trop grosse, obligé de limé un peu les connectiques.Aujourd'hui je ne m'en passerais plus pour toutes mes impressions.

Der Umbau gestaltet sich etwas kompliziert. Man sollte eine Lupe zum löten haben, damit man die erforderlichen filigranen Kontakte auf der Platine herstellen kann. Ansonsten ist es nur noch Kabel ziehen, Halterung für das Teil drucken und die Firmware flashen. Würde ich für den Mega X jederzeit empfehlen.
