Critters Comfort Coconut Reptile Bedding Organic Substrate - Fine, 21 Quarts

Doesn't have a strong smell to it. My son's lizards seem to like it and its easy to clean. I dont put to thick of a layer in the cage it seems like 1 bag will last a while for us. I use it in a screen cage and it doesn't make a mess.

Our sulcata tortoises absolutely love the bedding the fine coir is perfect to allow them to burrow comes moist and a daily misting keeps it nice and humid for them! No odor and no dust! Its nice you can also use it for plants after using as bedding for the tortoises!

Filled a 40 gallon tank with only 1 bag and I really could have used less than I did. So much better for my beardie than the sand he was on and I can tell he is much happier. This stuff will hold water if thats what you’re wanting. Super easy to clean up the messes and food that makes it out the bowl. Amazing product

This stuff is pretty great! I found this while I was looking for reptile prime coconut husk bedding and thought I’d give it a try, and I am so glad that I did!This is probably the best bang for you buck bedding, the only reason I docked a star is because it’s not completely dust free and the package came a little damaged. Overall this is the best out there for this price.

I love this substrate and how fluffy it is. Looks very natural. It does, however, have springtails and what seems to be wood mites. Both of these are harmless to your animal and springtails are often willingly added to tanks because they eat and break down waste. You can remove both of these by using reptile-safe mite killer but just be aware of the wood mites and use a cage they can't crawl out of and seal the bag good.HARMLESS BUGS, but can be an annoyance if you hate tiny bugs.Nearly all wood-based natural reptile bedding is going to have these bugs, if you really despise them, FREEZE and BAKE substrate beforehand. Provent-A-Mite also works but that is slower, personally, I don't mind the bugs

This is the best bedding for my tortoises. The waste gets clumped, so it is super easy to clean. In addition, I have changed my tortoises’ home three times and still have more than half a bag remaining. Well worth the cost!

This bedding comes up when you search "coconut husk bedding" which is what I needed. On the packaging it looks like big chunks of coconut husk which is what I was looking for. Nope, this stuff is the texture of dirt or sand. Very fine ground. Not good for my ball python who could get the substrate stuck in their heat pits. So if you're looking for coconut husk, do not buy this product.

It’s expensive for such a small bag. Other than that it’s a great product. I’ve tried a lot but always got the powder fine even though it’s not described as such. This is great and course that holds the humidity and isn’t powder that makes a fine dust. My sulcata loves it and I don’t have to worry about her getting a respiratory infection with this product. Very easy to clean
