AGS Laser Projection Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard & Mouse with Build in Display Screen

Just got it today and started to use it. Just as has been noted its dodgy in bright light but not unusable. What I don't think anyone has mentioned is that if the IR Sensor gets exposed to sufficient sunlight it will produce multiple false keystrokes. Also the surface you project on really needs to be a Matte white.What I am really pleased with is the way the mouse mode functions, cursor movement was smooth,mouse buttons worked well.Pairing up the BT connection went smoothly.

I purchased thus item mostly because it looked very cool. It is NOT ideal for a work environment simply because it is much to unreliable. You are bound to have 2 or 3 mistakes in every sentence you wright if you want to type with any speed at all. Also, it does have a mouse function and in the manual it says to hold FN and then the mouse key but this will only cause you frustration because all you have to do is press the mouse key and it will dim the keyboard projection and you are free to use it exactly like a laptop's mouse pad. The mini LCD is acctually very cool. It shows the letters you are typing when in keyboard mode, shows the keyboard icon / mouse icon, long shift, blutooth status, and battery. The battery life is very poor, it has maybe 30 min of on time on highest brightness and maybe 1 hour on lowest brightness. It gets charged off of a standard micro USB port and has a red LED behind the plastic around the charging port the glows while charging and goes out when battery is full. It does have some capablity to save user presets (brightness beep volume) but it is very unreliable and only saves half of the time while other times it resets to full brightness and full beep volume.I using this for a mouse pad in my setup and a REAL keyboard.

Basically the same product sold by Brookstone. The complaints from most people stem from their lack of patience to adapt to the minor typing patterns required for this to function. It's simply placing your fingers slightly above the letter for smooth and consistent typing. Its ideal for compact storage when you travel and works quite well in my opinion.

This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Great for using in a coffee shop to elicit comments from the public about how high tech and cutting edge you are. It is more of a novelty than a practical work horse however. You must be very meticulous about where you place your fingers or it will register the keys from a lower row. I am a novelist and love it for emails but find it impractical for serious hours of long typing.

Nice to have when I want to type more than a few words on my smart phone or my 8 inch windows tablet. Paired with both devices easily I had one similar to this years ago, but it was a wired device into a serial port (yes, that many years ago). These take some practice to get much speed, but worth the time. Of course the WOW factor is higher than any regular bluetooth keyboard. :-)

The button sounds are loud and obnoxious. You can only use this keyboard on flat surfaces and if you type fast, well, throw this thing out the window.Only reason it didn't get a one star is because it is durable, works, and is small and portable.

Not had, but not that great either. The tech seems to have stopped development to make them more accurate, but these are inexpensive at this point. DO NOT PAY $100 for these - you can get them for half that and even less for the same experience.
