Ankle / Foot Soft Brace Ice Pack with Compression. 20 min of 0º C icing Universal Size.

I read the other reviews on amazon before I purchased this item I shyed away from spending $50 on it. After looking around for a few days I decided to go ahead and purchase this one. While I was waiting for it to come in the mail I purchased a cheap gel-pak Ice pack from the pharmacy to use as a supplement to this ankle wrap. After the wrap came I placed it in the freezer and used it by iteself and it worked great. When I use the additional Ice pack ($5 at the pharmacy)it works even better and for longer periods. There is enough room for plenty of adjustment and also to hold an additional gel pack. I have a broken Leg (fib/tib) near my ankle and this wrap has been a beneficial addition to my ice therapy. Being able to actually strap on a wrap that applies cold and pressure is great.

This product works good, but not great. I bought this for a rolled ankle injury that needed to be iced down. Firstly, it is made from nice quality material & has held up over repeated uses very well over time in my freezer.The problem is in the design, the placement of the re-freezable cells in particular. Directly on the ankle is where I need it iced, but this wrap will only give you the desired deep cold mostly directly above and a little below the ankle. (No matter which way you wrap it on) I have used it many times, & have noticed that when I take it off I can feel how the deep cold penetrated above & below, but not into my ankle where I need it most. Ankles and elbows no, but other area's defiantly yes.

I was excited to receive this wrap for a torn tendon in my foot and all though this is more for the ankle the area around the bottom of the foot is where I needed the ice at, I am disappointed that these don't come in designated sizes because I think the one I received would fit a mans foot better then mine, I still manage to use it but its bulky for my foot, it does cool nicely and the velcrose is very strong.

I had purchased this foot wrap because of an injury to my ankle. I bought the smallest size available. I wear a size 5 1/2 - 6 size women's shoe, and I don't find that the wrap is geared for such small feet. It does the job ok, but it would work better if it fit me properly. If you have a small foot (less than a size 7, this might not be the right wrap for you.

I am very happy with this wrap. It is suitable for achilles tendon, ankle, or foot problems. I bought it for the achilles but I now think it would actually be better for plantar fascia issues. I highly recommend it.

Too large for my foot, after using it for awhile i noticed it doesn't get as cold as it did in the beginning

I also use this as cold remedy when my arthritis flares up in my hands. So far the arthritis hasn't affected my trigger finger. If it does I'll shoot myself---oh wait, I won't be able to. Damn you arthritis!

This wrap provides very good cold relief. It fits either foot. Provides cold relief and compression for the swelling at the same time which I love. It even has a thin membrane over the ice pack sewn in so that your skin doesn't burn from the ice. The only downside is it the ice melts after around 15 or 20 minutes. So I had to buy two more to keep in the freezer. That way I can alternate when the ice pack inside has melted.

good for ankle but does not have a long cold effect once applied anywhere else

The ice is good for about 10 minutes, and it ices the top and ack of the ankle at the same time

Love that it is easy to ice my foot now but the ice packs in the product don’t stay cold. They need to be larger. I put another ice pack inside and then do it up which works well.
