Comfortable walking boot for plantar fasciitis
I have had plantar fasciitis and bone spurs for the past 8 years and I have kept it managed well. I recently had a flare up and I could not find my boot and sleeping brace from over 5 years ago. Anyhow, I order a new boot and brace and I have to say, I am not disappointed with this boot. I remember the boot I got from the doctor was a bit heavier and threw my hip out more. This one is lightweight and the velcro does not make a loud noise as someone else mentioned. My other boot did not make much velcro noise either but you have some. I just make sure they are all fastened securely and you won't have much noise. I guess I am so use these boots they nothing phases me with them. Overall, this boot alleviates the foot and heal pain while resting and walking. I am generally a size 8 so I ordered a small and it had a small amount of room in the toe area should you need it. I would definitely purchase again.

Fit great
I have a rather large foot/leg. Its a bit heavy, but it takes a good beating. Helped heal my leg and was easy to walk in.

Great boot so far....a little noisey(velcro)
This boot was a GREAT price but makes more noise that I like. However, my ankle is not hurting at all...so I will bear the noise. I am hoping the noise will decrease the more I wear it. It may be too early to tell but I wanted to do a review; simply for the price alone. I have peroneal tendonitis. My doctor office had the almost exact boot for $289 with my insurance applied. The medical supply store in my area had it for $147. The staff member at the doctor office recommended I look online. I am glad I found this one. I would recommend

Great item!
Super soft and comfortable. Way better than the boot provided my my doctor and weighs less. I wear a women's 11.5 shoe and the large fits perfectly. I also have a large calf and its plenty big around my leg.

Not worth the money!! Very disappointed!!
Not very pleased with this purchase at all. I was excited when my orthopedic told me I could order a walking boot from Amazon for 1/3 the price of what their office charged. Ordered it, got it, and couldn’t wait to get in it (compared to the large one I was wearing.I have only been in this boot for three weeks. There is a whole worn in the liner already (Pic #1). The entire outside area of the boot, near my calf area, is all scratched and packed looking. It is embarrassing to wear, but I have too because I trashed my old one. Definitely not made from quality material!!

Just didn't fit correctly
Used the sizing chart and ordered a small.Instructions were confusing and inaccurate. Had to search a video for instructions on use. Followed those. The boot appears to be comfortable. Reason I say "appears", is because it didn't fit my foot correctly. It was extremely loose on the sides and top, even after I placed the pads in as instructed by both the video and the written instructions (again, they weren't exactly intuitive)Foot shifted all over the place and I actually ended up hurting it wearing the boot. Not what I needed for a soft tissue/metatarsal fractureHopefully this will work for someone else

Ok boot for the price
Ordered this boot to use in conjunction with the one my doctor gave to me. I wear size 9 in women’s. Ordered the medium and it a little too big. My heel is rubbing on the back, I can’t get the straps tight enough. It makes a lot of noise while walking. The foot bed is padded nicely. I wish the back was solid plastic all the way up like my other boot. It is also slightly heavier than the boot given to me.

realistic price
first the price is realistic, this boot is $90 less than the one my insurance did not cover which i did get against my better judgement. the base, where you put your foot, seemed a little bit harder than i would like, but this was not a big deal. people said, but the orthopedic office will fit it for you. yea, i wear size 13, what size boot do think i will need ???? i went there, the medical assistant asked, what size shoe do you wear and came back with... you guessed it, an XL boot. it is very very difficult to tell the difference between the way overpriced not covered by my insurance that obviously sucks boot, and this one. save your money and get this instead. i would say dont try to diagnose yourself, if the dr says you need it, get it, otherwise you may do more harm to yourself.
