Johnny B Shampoo Paste

I got used to it not lathering, but because it doesn't lather it sprinkles shampoo around the shower walls when scrubbing my scalp. Never had that problem with lathering shampoos. Also, not a fan of the smell. It smells as if made with Shea butter, which I don't like. It does a fantastic job of cleaning my hair and scalp though and leaves a menthol-like cool tingle feel. The 6oz tube just didn't last long enough for the price.

I’m 67 year old and during the past decade or so i had experienced dry spots on my scalp, with the flaky skin. I talked to a cosmetologist at a beauty supply store and she recommended this product. Now I need to wash my hair with a good quality shampoo first, a brand that won’t cause my scalp to be dry, then then Johnny B, and after ten days to 2 weeks my scalp seldom itches.

So I waited a while to write a review as I was waiting to see if this would be a product that would only work for the first times than stop. Let me say I've had problems with dandruff almost all my life and I've always been able to keep it under control but these past couple years it's been horrible and embarrassing. I tried everything from Neutrogena t-gel extra strength to basically everything on the shelf that was medicated for dry scalp. I was recommended to try this product (mind you I'm a girl) so i was a bit sceptical on the smell but it actually smells really good and minty! And I LOVE it!! No more dandruff on my black shirts! And it feels so cool and fresh on my scalp. I'm so glad I gave this a try and honestly I don't think I will ever use anything else so I hope I'm able to always order it!

I would give this five (5) stars except the PASTE is too thick to pump. I can scoop out the amount needed, of course, but repeated pumping does nothing.

I have eczema and chronic dermatitis (i.e. just super-dry skin all the time), which sometimes means lots of dandruff and/or extra dry patches of skin on my scalp. I've tried just about every non-prescription solution, from coal tar shampoos to Neutrogena T-Gel to Selsun Blue, Free & Clear, etc. This is the only shampoo that I've ever used that clears up my scalp and keeps it that way. It doesn't work as fast as prescription creams, but I'd rather have a non-prescription shampoo that I can just use every day like a normal person. This is it.I doubt I'll ever use another shampoo and pray that this company stays in business forever.To top it off, it smells great, lasts long, and the minty cooling effect is nice.

This is the only product my son can use on his super thick, stick straight hair. It makes it soft and much more manageable. You only need a very small amout when you shampoo, so dont let the size of the container fool you. Smells great too!

I used to dread shaving, no matter how much shaving cream I used with a new blade, it still felt like I was setting my face on fire. I discovered this product when I went to get a shave from a barber and they used this to shave me with a straight blade. From that point on I only use this to shave.

I Use This Paste To Wash My Face. Even After 6 Hours Later, I Can Smell It On My Face.
