An Amazing Piece of Machinery Which Won't Die!!!
Up date written on March 11, 2017: I purchased one of these little giants in 2014 for our front yard small fountain. Once the crows discovered that there was fresh, clean running water.......they took over. Each morning they would bring their "treats" to wash in the fountain: peanuts in the shell, stale bread, other bits and parts, and of cours themselves. It didn't take long to muck up the pristine water. What had been a once a month chore, cleaning the fountain, became a weekly hassle. And this is despite placing plastic netting (the stuff from garlic bags from Trader Joe's) - 2 plastic nets mind you, not just one - on the pump to protect it's inner workings.Well finally in Feb. 2017, nearly 3 years since purchase, the Ponics Pump gave up the ghost.Of course, quick like a bunny, I purchased the exact same model cause it had withstood the devices of the crows for years. After purchasing the new one (exact same model), the CEO of the company (FasterHarvest), Ron Mauldin, emailed me to ask if I'd purchased the correct size pump and if I had any questions. Along with his email was a download of How to Clean the Pump.I assured him that the pump had been a trooper, putting up with crow slobber and such, and that I'd gotten my money's worth from the little thing. But I was intrigued, and after dinner tonight, I printed out the instructions, and got the old pump out of the electronic recycle pile in the garage, and set to work to clean it.Well after 4 Q tips, a wet cloth, a toothpick, and of course wet rag and clean water........I picked and pried out more crow gunk then I could have imagined could get stuck in such a small cavity.Carefully I placed it all back together, plugged it in the wall, placed it in a bucket of water, and GLORY BE!!!!!!It LIVES!!!!It still works!!!So this will be my Back Up Pump. With the new one, and this trusty old one, I may never need a new pump again!

Great Replacement
I purchased this as a replacement pump for my cats Pioneer Big Max Ceramic water fountain. Our pump was still working after three years but it had become a weak stream. The first thing I would like to say was the enclosed reduction attachment did not fit and was in fact the same diameter as the pumps outlet. I used a Roto Tool to enlarge the inside diameter of a piece of 1/2 inch Shark PVC I had leftover from installing our water heater. I only needed about 1 1/2 inches. Next is this pump is just large enough it would not fit in the filter cartridge. The instructions suggest a filter bag. I had an old Fish Tank so I salvaged the bag from it. Oh now thats another thing, this pump has a heavy duty cord that will not fit the slot for the 12 volt cord. However the flow arches are plenty large so the cord comes through one of them now. I had to cut holes for the suction cups and outlet but the cord came out the top of the bag and I pulled the draw string around it. The pump works great even better than the original and is quiet, all you hear is the bubbling of the water. Sounds like a good running fish tank to me.

Works pretty well
I bought this pump for an unorthodox purpose. I brew beer at home and was looking for a small submersible pump to circulate the cooling water in my mud sink so the beer will cool quicker. The price on this unit was perfect for that purpose. I've used it a few times and have no complaints. From my experience it is quiet (the only way I know it is running is by the ripples on the surface of the water). It has suction cups that keep it relatively secure to the side of the sink, although when it does come loose I think it is more the fault of the rough surface of the sink and not the suction cups. There is a flow adjustment that seems to work well. I always keep it wide open, but did play with it when the pump first arrived to see what it would do.The only thing that surprised me was the size of the pump. From the close-up picture I thought it was about the size of my fist. When it arrived I discovered that it is only about a 1.5" cube. It is attached to a heavy duty power cable which makes it look a little silly, but I guess it is the size it needs to be for the small flow rate it puts out.Overall I've been happy with this pump and have no complaints.

Been awesome for over two years!!
This little pump has performed much better than expected for the money! We use it in a water feature on our deck, and it has run 24/7/365 for two years. In the winter months, we use a stock tank heater to keep the water from freezing, and the first winter, the temp dropped to -26 below and it still kept running! The pump needs to be unclogged now and then due to leaves and such, but that's to be expected. It's run dry in a couple of occasions in the summer months, but fires right up once the basin is replenished. This is a great little pump for the money!!!

Smaller than I thought, but it works better than I imagined!
This 66GPM pump is incredibly tiny - about the size of a phone charging power unit - and I was very concerned; however, it works great. I got a 2 foot length of 1/2" clear vinyl hose at my local small town hardware store for $1 and it works perfectly. There is also a smaller adapter for 1/4" hose. The pump is installed in a large old bird bath fountain with the top piece a figure of a boy being goosed by a goose, the rise is about 18". Our goal was a little stream of water and we toned it down with an old sea-shell on top to keep it from squirting too far out. We put the power cord into a power strip so it can be turned off and on easily.

I had just got around to checking it out and your attitude was so helpful it made me feel good about purchasing from your compan
I just want to thank you for your advice and your attitude. The warranty expired because I bought the pump in May last year but I explained the pump was not pumping since early spring. I had just got around to checking it out and your attitude was so helpful it made me feel good about purchasing from your company. I was afraid to pull the pump apart but when I read your tip I did exactly as you explained and low and behold there was a piece of bark preventing the impeller from turning. I realize that this was a very small purchase but your display of great business practices have won you a fan. Good luck and you be sure when we need another pump we will be ordering from your company. Thanks again, Joe Marani.
