I love these railing planters. I have 4, have given as gifts and am purchasing more for myself. They are rugged yet attractive. They fit perfectly on my 2x6 railing and are easy to move if I need to. I am starting to plant more edibles on the deck and these are perfect for seeds that are made for containers especially spinach, lettuce and even some peas/cucumbers. So much more convenient than lugging the hose all the way out to the garden therefore my harvests are much better too! These sell at a more expensive gardening website for much more. Great value from Amazon!

I purchased these to match some containers I had purchased from QVC. These way surpass the QVC ones in quality and design. The ones from QVC have very little depth in the center and will only accommodate a very small plant or two on each side. These are a different design and as the sides aren't as deep and narrow as the other containers. There is much more space inside them for root growth and will accommodate more plants. They were also cheaper than the other containers.

I have had other planters on my deck through the years, but seen these and I am so happy I did. First so far this year we have had winds over 60 mph my gas grill moved, my deck furniture moved, but my 6 planters stayed in place. Second they look great. Third surprisingly they take up little space past the deck rail, I thought I was going to have to take them off each time I put my awning down but nope my awning leg moves right past them.

These are fantastic! Fits as advertised right on top of my patio deck railing. The drain holes are a big plus - water drains over the side of the railing, not on it. I liked them so much, I went looking for more in the mocha color. Had to order from Apollo Plastics, but got a nice deal on a package of 6. These are just the best find!!!

Ordered 8 of these for my deck.They look great!In two of them,I planted herbs (basil,dill cilantro,parsley),which grew tall and blew off the railing.The others were fine with the flowers.Next year I will stick with the flowers.Note:the first delivery comtained 8 planters that did not have drainage holes.Amazon was quick to replace,and second delivery was fine!

These fit snug and securely onto my 6" wide deck rails. The drainage holes are nice and small, so I don't have to worry about dirt running out of the bottoms. The material is nice and semi soft/pliable - I try to avoid rigid plastics that are prone to shattering.

I actually had three of these and bought 2 for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and planted the flowers and gave them to her and she loved them. She wants more. They are wonderful. I do bring mine in when the weather turns bad in the winter.

Great product and easy to move about the rail. Would order this product again. Much better than the wire framed boxes lined with straw that were being used and will be very easy to sore in the off season compared to the wire racks.
