This is perfect for my travel sewing kit that I put together for my featherweight

Have not used this mat yet. but look forward to it. Upon opening package there is no odor as some have mentioned. It is a wonderful size for small items to be pressed.

I needed a small pad to iron on and this one fit on my craft table perfectly! It could be a little stiffer but it is exactly what I wanted.

Got this to iron small cotton pieces on but the iron burns it and gets black stuff stuck to the iron and your fabric. It smells bad before ironing and after ironing it smells worse. So now I have to use a towel over the wool. I got the wool to replace a towel ... so kind of defeats the purpose of this mat. The yellow on the mat is from the iron. Water also goes through the wool but that I expected.

Item is very thick and firm. Works great as an ironing platform on almost any surface and can be rolled up or slid into an outside compartment taking up almost no space while traveling.

This is just okay. I needed something small to be able to do quick presses as I’m sewing. The biggest issue is that it STINKS! The longer you use it the worse it smells. And don’t even attempt steam or the smell will take over the room and transfer to the fabric.

I have not used it. Am returning because I need a larger one but this one looked like the type of thing I wanted to order just too small. It would be perfect for small pieces though.

most of the masks i am sewing need a lot of pressing between stepsThis mat is just the right size for my small table. And yes it presses both sides.
