There is no evidence that these particular blood tests produce any useful information whatsoever. Unfortunately I only found this out after I'd sliced my finger and sent off the required blood sample. I could've saved myself a sore finger.After I looked into the claims - I read extensively on the company's website and what scientists wrote about the tests - I did not even bother to ring up to follow up on the results. They would have been meaningless.Please also note that the consultations with "nutritionists" may be worthless too because "nutritionist" is not a protected title. There's nothing to stop my cat - whose been dead for 2 years - being called a "nutritionist". So who knows what value their advice would be.Avoid.

I can't believe how easy this was to do!! 2 minutes to do the test, sent them off and in just a few days I have a set of results which will make such a difference. I got a very clear and easy to read set of results back which has enabled me to cut the correct foods out of my diet which I was having a reaction to. A few of the foods I was expecting but a few were a total surprise and therefore must be the foods causing me issues. I will be buying these tests for the whole family! I have still to arrange my call to discuss my results so I am keen to hear what further help they can give me but even without the call this is fantastic!

This is a very professional looking kit. The contents include lancets, test tubes, swabs and full instructions. I found it very easy to take the blood samples and not at all painful. I posted the samples and very quickly received my test results. The blood test looks for intolerances not allergies and so the result did not show my confirmed peanut allergy, but it did show that I had an intolerance to wheat, cow's milk, egg yolk and egg white. This was somewhat of a surprise. I had not noticed any adverse effects from consuming these items, although my mother informed me as a very small child, I did have an issue with cow's milk.The telephone consultation with the nutritionist was quite simple and in retrospect I think I would have liked some more practical suggestions and possibly a meal plan to start me off. This is because I am already on a restricted diet, as I don't eat meat and as I have mentioned, I have a peanut allergy. I have tried to cut down particularly on wheat based products and eggs, but a gluten-free vegan diet or nearly vegan diet it is simply not practical for me at this time. I do feel better for this restraint, but the gains are marginal.Overall, I think if you do experience poor digestion and other symptoms of food intolerance, this test may be worth investing in, but if you have few or no symptoms the restrictions that might result will probably put more stress on your body than your existing diet does.

It's really hard to rate this, it would be a 4.5 stars if I could. It's efficient and worked absolutely fine - as you can see from the screenshot, I surprisingly got results back to say I have a severe reaction to yeast, egg white and cows milk.The kit itself is relatively self explanatory, it comes with some sharp tack things which instantly make a prick of blood, and you then collect it on the tiny sample sticks. You need a fair bit, not loads, but enough to need to squeeze your finger a few times to get it all out.Then they are sealed and sent off with the form to fill in. The form I received had someone else's name and address on - makes me a bit worried for data protection, but then perhaps this was just a glitch as part of me receiving this as a review product. I just crossed it out and amended.It took just over a week for the results to be emailed back, along with the ability to book a half an hour telephone appointment with a nutritionist to discuss my results. The kit is all prepaid, so just put it in the post box and wait.The woman who called and told me about the nutrition was actually really lovely and helpful, the service is fantastic and I learnt a lot about food and what I can eat in replacement. Doing this has helped, if you find you have pain and whole-day inconvenience from toilet problems, it's worth doing to find out what you can do to fix it.I found the communication good, and at the end of the day, it told me what I wanted to know.My only gripe is the price. £350 is really, really expensive. I suppose that's the market value of paying for this service yourself, but that's a lot of money for simply sending off a blood sample and having a chat about it.I don't have any qualms about the kit at all, it's great. It's just expensive.

I gave this to someone who suffers from various conditions which he suspected were allergy related. The product overall was impressive. It is professionally compiled, nicely presented, easy to use, and includes two telephone consultations. It identified several foods as suspects for his problems. He then had to eliminate these and keep a detailed diary of his intake for 12 weeks, followed by a gradual reintroduction. This is quite a burden but he found it an excellent discipline and really there is no shortcut if you want to identify your allergies properly.The final outcome was mixed. His symptoms have reduced but not gone away so he isn't sure if the recommendations were correct. On that basis I can only give it 4 stars but I do feel it is a good product and worth paying the high price for.
