Verbal Behavior Paperback – Box set, November 11, 2014

This book is important if you are in an ABA program, but it is not easy to read. I often reread paragraphs and use other books and articles to supplement it and explain it in layman's terms. Skinner did not write it for a person that is not in the field of Behavioral psychology to pick up easily.

This book is challenging to read but very worth it if you want a scientific theory of verbal behavior and thinking. It is sad to see how undervalued and misunderstood Skinner is in the US.

I was reading the book and found that page 310 is missing. It is blank but there should be something to complete this chapter. I wonder whether this is a single case or normal.

Skinner has a questionable reputation as a result of fabricating his infamous Skinner's box, but this book is much more mainstream and useful. Recommended

Skinner took the dare from A.N. Whitehead.This is, arguably, the most important book of the 20th Century.Dare I say, it is worth reading?
