Works on TCL QM6K
I purchased two of these for testing on my new TCL QM6K miniLed TV and my older Hisense L9G laser projector both which are natively capped at 100mbps speed from their stock network Ethernet connector. This UGREEN USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter worked perfectly fine on the newer TCL QM6K increasing the network performance! I’m now getting over 900 mbps download and upload speeds and it was plug and play no driver install.Unfortunately the older Hisense L9G laser projector’s 3.0 USB port failed to power up and recognize this device. To no surprise it worked perfectly fine on my Lenovo laptop which doesn’t have an Ethernet port…using the USB 3.0 port it easily tripled the speed over the WiFi!

Worked perfect on linux, no hassles
This worked perfectly on two separate linux laptops, it was automatically recognized and up and running in seconds. One laptop is an old dell running outdated/unsupported opensuse 15.2 with a 5.3.18 kernel with old usb. The other laptop is a new dell running the latest opensuse tumbleweed (20250515) with the newest 6.14.6-1 kernel. No hassles at all with either laptop Great price, great functionality, really a great little gadget to have handy when you really have to have ethernet. I used it for a direct connect to a nas box that had a different ip net. Just set this up on that net and was good to go, talking on ethernet direct into the nas, while still on wifi on a different net. Great product.

Great USB to Ethernet Connector
My ethernet port on my Nvidia Shield stopped working after a while. I originally purchased a different USB to Ethernet Connector in error that only gave 100 MBPS and the speed difference was definitely noticeable. I sent the other one back and bought this one and my speed was back to what I was used to getting with the direct ethernet to ethernet port connection. This is truly a great buy in my book.

This USB-Ethernet adapter DOES work with Fire Sticks.
...or at least Fire Sticks that support USB (OTG) hubs like the 4K Max 2nd Generation.Have been using a UGreen micro-USB ethernet adapter (B01N1X28F1) for several years but also needed to connect a USB flash drive to the Fire Stick. Power/data splitter wouldn't work since that ethernet adapter requires both power AND data to function. Answer was switching to this USB 3.0/ethernet adapter (B00MYTSN18), but also needed a certain type of USB hub.Fire Sticks have a single micro-USB port, so needed an On-The-Go (OTG) USB hub that supports Fire Sticks and micro-USB connections. There were several varieties available, and purchased a 3-port USB 3.0 hub to connect both the USB ethernet adapter and a flash drive.Steps taken (see picture):- USB (OTG) hub to Fire Stick's micro-USB port.- Fire Stick's micro-USB power cable to the USB (OTG) hub....Other end of the Fire Stick's micro-USB power cable to the Fire Stick's AC adapter.- UGreen USB ethernet adapter (B00MYTSN18) to the USB (OTG) hub.- RJ45 cable to ethernet adapter.- Add USB flash drive to the USB (OTG) hub, or a keyboard, mouse, etc.It works! Fire Stick detected the ethernet connection and speed test shows OK for 1080p (see picture). However, would assume this configuration is Not Officially Supported.Unrelated: In February 2025 no driver disk is included, so would need to download drivers for older/other operating systems.

So happy with it that I bought a second.
I’ve purchased 2 of these. I have one at work that I use for my laptop, the other is at home connecting a Nintendo Switch to the router. The only issue I ran into with the laptop is that I was experiencing some interference with my wireless mouse which caused the mouse to not function properly. Since I couldn’t put more space between the mouse and this device with the port layouts of my laptop, I purchased a 4 port USB-C hub to allow for more distance and it resolved the interference issue with the mouse.

IF you purchase a new WIFI Laptop you'll need this
I purchased a brand new laptop that didn't have a standard normal plug-in port for my modem. With this adapter I am able to connect my standard modem plug into my computer.

Worked with Roku TV
My new Roku TV does not have an ethernet port so I used this to connect the ethernet cable to the TV. The TV immediately recognized the connection and it works fine so far. Better than connecting over WiFi.
