Pathophysiology: An Incredibly Easy! Pocket Guide (Incredibly Easy! Series®)

I love this little book. The pathologies are organized by system - neurological disorders, respiratory disorders, etc. This makes it easy to study the pathologies that correspond to the system we are covering in class. It condenses the important information into the perfect format for studying on the run - bullet points, illustrations, concise explanations. This book does not include all the supporting details for the information presented. Many times I find everything I need to know right in this little book, but sometimes I have to refer back to my textbook. This book pulls out all the important ideas and organizes them in a way that is easy to understand and remember.

Say what you will about all these "made easy" type books, but I seriously love this one. I am a nursing student, and I frequently take this one with me to clinicals. It is such an easy to read, quick reference guide and is detailed without being toooo detailed, making it easy to either get a base understanding of a disease process or to quickly review one if you forgot a few details.

The book is clear and concise with helpful charts and diagrams that would be beneficial to anyone new in the medical field or as a quick reference for a seasoned nurse.

Great study guide and good for preparation for test. I downloaded it on my kindle for easy travel and great to read on plane.

Studying for school

Great guide to learn Anatomy and physiology in your spare time. The pocket size makes it easy to take anywhere and just study while you're waiting at doctors or restaurants etc. Great book for nursing or any medical students.

This book - handbook - has helped me understand some of the concepts of Pathophysiology. It absolutely is an easy to understand guide with comical illustrations that really do help. It is written in terms that are easily understood with simple explanations for the more difficult terms. It was received in the condition promised and within the time frame promised.

I like the "Incredibly Easy" series of books because they are what they say they are. They make it easier to understand the material. They are brief and to the point. A great reference tool to accompany textbooks.

I like this little book as an overview you couldnt ask for more.The only slight downside, and it is a tiny downside, is that its obviously for the American market and certain spellings are different in English (UK) ie esophagus as opposed to the English spelling of oesophagus etcIts perfect as a starting point, the explanations are easy to understand and it makes difficult concepts more palatable.I would recommend this to a friend but would point out the Americanisms.
