Extra Thick Dancers Pads for Sesamoiditis, Right and Left 1/4 Thick, Self Sticking, Re-Usable

My mom's podiatrist recommended these dancer pads to my mom. First, because when you get old you lose the cushioning on the bottom of your foot and secondly, because she has a messed up foot from a previous operation. She loves that these pads just stick to her foot. When she takes it off at night, she rinses it under water and it is good to go for the next day. She told me she is able to stand for longer periods of time without pain. My mom said she recommends these to elderly or anyone who has to stand/walk for long periods of time.

The gel quality is very good but there are couple issues that I think the product designers should consider to make a good product.- it is not designed for all foot size. One size fit for all is not practical.- As we walk the bottom of our feet flexes. We don’t notice but with this product you will feel it. This create discomfort. Reason is because once the sticky side adhere to you palm of your feet, it prevents the full stretching of the pads area. As you walk a few miles you will feel the sore on that area.So, I suggest to the product designer to make it 3 sizes, large/ medium/ small and some guidance to customers for selecting the correct size for their feet.As for the adhesive area, I think it should be applied to the contour of the pad, not the whole are so the bottom of the foot have the flexibility to stretch.

These are amazing and they work very well. I walk and jog a bit only when I have them on. One is already coming apart from where the plastic and gel connect. Definitely makes a difference, but expensive if you have to replace frequently especially for people that have medical condition and must wear all the time.

I have experienced my second bout of sesamoiditis in the past several years. Only on my left foot. This pad, once you get used to the small extra mass in the shoe, makes you forget you have this infernal condition. The last time, the condition went away in a few weeks. I believe I am headed that way again. The user has to experiment a bit to find the optimal position, which is easy to do. The really stick securely if washed after eac wearing.

I needed pads for right foot but had to buy both. Very uncomfortable as they tend to shift while walking after placed in the right spot. Also cutout for sesamoid is too small

If you follow the washing-cleaning instructions they maintain their adhesion, they stick.

This product is essentially useless. I was advised to use this pad by my podiatrist for Sesamoiditis in my right foot. When attaching to my dry foot first thing in the morning, it stayed on; however, it immediately started shifting as soon as I put on a sock and shoe. By the time I finished walking to work, it was so out of place that it provided no cushion to the affected area. The same thing happened even after rinsing with soap and letting air dry. If this doesn’t work for the casual subway commuter, I’d be shocked if it worked for someone more active, like a dancer. Would not recommend.

I am almost 70 years young, and very active. Have had both bunions removed, a couple of broken toe surgeries and plenty of calluses. I was born blessed with very weak feet, been to foot Dr's for years for foot pads and callus removal and, plus the good feet store which did help with some pain but, the best thing that's ever happened to me is Dr. Jill's 1/4" reusable and, I do mean resuable foot pads which I do use with my orthopedics from good ft.
