Beep Beep

I purchased this book for my son when he was about a year and a half. He absolute LOVED it! We read it to him every night, several times a night...over and over and over again. Eventually, he was able to "read" the entire story by himself; he'd memorized it. LOL The story is really cute; it tells about a family who is on a car trip to visit Grandma. It's told in a rhyming rhythm like a poem that is fun to read, and includes some really good, colorful illustrations. Despite the years, this book still figures as one of my son's favorites. He's now five years old.

I got this for my daughter around 9 months old after I realised that she really liked "Choo Choo" by the same author. This one she wasnt as interested in at first, but over time it has become her favourite. She brings this and wants it read to her several times a day including bedtime.Its a good book, well illustrated and grabs the kid's attention without going on for too long. The words are simple and there are lots of objects for her to learn about. Sounds simple, but its probably a bit harder than it looks since there are lots of books I buy her that she doesnt like as much as this one!

Really nice boardbook 👍🏻 My little daughter love this book to read.

My son loves this little book. He enjoyed the library copy, so I bought him his own for his birthday. Only then did I discover that there are differences between the British and American versions! Having (inadvertently) seen both, I actually like the British version better. Your biggest choice: does your child say "Grandma" (Amer.) or "Granny" (Brit.)? I recommend either version, since the illustration and cut-out pages are charming either way.

My son loves this book and we checked it out from the library. After we turned it in, we had tears at story time when he noticed it was gone. We had to order one ASAP!

I had bought another book by this author ("Elephant") for my 2 year old son and he LOVED it, so I thought this book would be similar....but it is much more basic with only a few words on each page and only 14 pages in total. It takes less than a minute to read. It is nicely illustrated and the different shaped pages make it interesting, but I would say it is more suited to a 6 - 18 month old.

Bought this for a long plane ride with my toddler (isn't any plane ride long when you're traveling solo with a 23-month old boy?!). Thankfully this book helped him through it. He loved it! He gets excited and pokes his finger through the window hole and says, "Mam-maw!" for the last page with Grandma. Such a cute book!!!

My just-barely-turned-two year old loves this book and the fun sounds on each page. He will repeat each page after I read it to him. And loves the "weeeeee" down the hill to Grandma's house, and pointing to all the cars on the highway. A simple, fun book.I really like the illustrations and layouts of Petr Horacek's books. Very inventive.

Really nice book, my 11m old boy loves it. I am sure it will be good for learning colours etc when he is older. Can only recommend.

Honestly not such a great book. It has too few pages and illustration though different is very average looking and not eye catching for a toddler.
