HDJC250 Jointing Compound 250ml, Clear

Used to ensure heating oil compression joints stay dry, apply around end of pipe and olive, tighten joint, jobs done. A bit messy to use but V effective

I need to make some fittings oil tight on a thermostat fitted to on my auto transmission. However I think this was the wrong product to use on its own.However I would like to comment on the excellent support this company gives you. Not only did they respond very quickly but they werfe unafraid to recommend more suitable products once they understood the task at hand.Product didn;t work for me this time due to high pressure of the system, however 4 stars for a great support.

Great product much easier than ptfe tape no leaks, ans where there were leaks, we just hadn't used quite enough, removed dried product re applied and no leaks at all. This is about 4 weeks in in a high pressure purification plant room and still no leaks

Wow this worked I have tried all ways to stop this leak. Tried this and now leak free. Used on a in house stopcock that would be difficult to change.

Used on diesel injector pipes for an old tractor that often leaked - looks to have done the job - dry now.Only down side the internal brush was somewhat large and splayed and not very useful and messy when trying to get back in the pot.

Handy brush is included in the lid. Came very quickly and seems to be very effective . Useful for oil joints.

Fitted a new heating oil tank out this stuff on all the connections from the tank
