I bought this to help me find underground sprinkler system valves. It worked for that purpose. It took a while but definitely helped me find all but one of my valves.

This thing doesn't work as I had hoped it would. Probably need to buy the very expensive one, which I can't afford. To be honest I'm not sure it is the tracker's fault. These sprinklers are wired very strangely. If I was an electron I'd probably get confused too.

I needed to find a sprinkler valve. Wasted a lot of time. Hard to discern when it really has something.Quirky.

Finally got a chance to use it and worked just as advertised. Worth the money.

cant find a metal water pipe with it which is why I bought it.

It found the underground cable.

I wanted to locate some underground wires for my low voltage landscape system. I unplugged the transformer and energized it with the transmitter. The receiver lost the signal after about 3-4 feet. I verified that the wires are only buried 3-4 inches deep. The locator system behaves as though it the receiver has very primate signal processing
