Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Silver Graphing Calculator, Black/Dark Grey

This calculator is all you need in high school math classes. TI 89 is kind of too sophisticated (it's not the case if you've been using it for a long time) and TI 83 doesn't work as well as TI 84 does. This calculator is really going to help me in my standardized tests.

As for someone that had just lost there old TI-84, I wasn't too excited about dropping another $100 on another calculator. I was looking for a cheep solution and came across a used one for $70. Still wasn't the best but was better then $100. This calculator was "Used, and in Good" condition, but when I received the calculator, the bottom row of keys were sticky due to some juice or liquid that had been spilled. This caused issues with turning the calculator ON and sometimes prevented the keys from coming back up. I had dissembled the calculator and cleaned the keys and it was like brand new. Even though I had fixed this calculator, I personally think that the seller should have taken more time to either clean this product, or just not sell it at all.As of 5 months later it is still working fine and in good condition. The only problem is that it takes a few seconds to show stuff on the screen after you press the ON button.

As you can see from my order description above and from the packing slip I received with my calculator, I ordered the "Dark Grey" calculator. What I received was a "Hot Pink" calculator. I contacted the sender inquiring about the problem and asked for a response ASAP because my 17 year old son wanted the grey one and if he couldn't send it out right away, I would return the calculator since it's not what I ordered and have to purchse elsewhere. The sender NEVER responded to me. My son determined that the calculator would be fine (he's never concerned what others think) and we didn't send it back, but it's frustrating the sender never even contacted me to apologize for the incorrect shipment. Will still buy from Amazon, but not the vendor that sold me the calculator.

The calculator came on time, but the seller said that it was the Silver model and it was not; it was actually a model of lesser value. My son kept it anyway just because it was too much of a hassle to send back. Me? I would have sent it back!!

I love this calculator. I've written a lot of programs for it, and it is significantly faster than my normal Ti-84 Plus (not silver edition). Definitely worth the few extra bucks. This is an absolute essential for any high school math student.

I wish the calculator was cleaned before it was sent to me. Other than that the calculator works properly.

Great calculator came in black just like it said. I have already used these types of calculator for my highschool as well as my college math classes so I already knew how it works. I was looking around everywhere for a cheap calculator ti-84 plus SE and I didnt want it gray like everyone elses. So I ordered this black one. It was great shipped very quickly got it with in 3 days from across the country. Looks like new everything is exactly how it said..love it!!

Works well.. it was just a lot more used and nor so clean as you would expect from a almost new I would have described it as well used but works good.
