Fantastic for birdwatching
Lightweight but powerful. Great to carry on a hike, which we do regularly. Adjusts and focuses easily. Wish I had bought it sooner.

Excellent monocular
I've owned a much more expensive 10x25 monocular in the past, and this one - at a fraction of the price - is at least as good, and maybe better. I like that you can use it with one hand only, and I like the crisp clear images. The only thing I'm not so keen on is that it is rather wide, and doesn't fit into my rucksack pocket. Having said that however - with the supplied lanyard attached - it fits conveniently into my shirt pocket, and is ready for instant use.

Fast and Sturdy
Went through a TON 🤯 of compact binoculars and monoculars. Dozens of orders from so many companies. Made in the USA means we bought Chinese Crap and assembled it here. Or even better we "designed" it in the USA then had it made and shipped from China.. Its a sad state this country is in. That being noted this scope was the one I kept out of everything. I was especially upset with Nikon mini binoculars that are supposed to be from the USA with the MADE IN CHYNA sticker still stuck on the bottom. These do not try to trick you or make you buy them on false pretenses. They are outstanding in view clarity and I have used it in rain and fog. I wouldn't bother on getting the extra zoom since finding your target will be increasingly difficult as you move up. This is a great option for a Truck Box, EDC Bag, Hike or any Sporting Event. It's also grippy when wet and the dial can move easily even in gloves. Have a nice day 😊

Great monocular, well built. Note 10 or 8 power info below.
I wanted the most power I could get in handheld. Some sites noted that higher powers are hard to hold steady, and this seems to be true. I do not have an 8x, but in hindsight, I might should have gotten that. This 10x does shake a bit. One needs to hold your breath and get steady. I chose the 25mm lens just from cost and size. I'm looking at birds at my feeder and yard critters, thus I don't need the wide field of view, and the wider instrument. DO NOTE: I got a carrying case for this, that is totally unnecessary. The additional case if fine Contrary to some reviews, the case that comes with this is perfectly fine ... actually better than the secondary case. I'll keep the secondary case in the event I change my mind or find another use for it. All said, seems like a good value for the money.

Great gadget! But ....
I was looking for a small yet powerful and light weight monocular that I can take on hikes, one that is easy to use, good value for the money, and that will survive the rough and tumble. This little monocular fits the bill, and more. It is well made, great quality. The pouch it comes with is all you need. I would highly, highly recommend. But ..... using it makes me dizzy, the magnification is too strong for my eyes so I will return. A real bummer that has nothing to do with the product. I am not even sure I would be able to handle a 8x...

Very clear
I mostly Bow hunt, and I have several pocket size spotting scopes. I’m very please with the size and clarity. This is a very nice unit especially for the money.

Good quality construction but size and eyepiece make it less appealing
I usually don’t write reviews, but since I went through some extra effort here to trial 4 brands at the same time, so I hope this is helpful information. Background: I wanted to find a good monocular that I can easily throw in my fanny pack or in my pocket in case I need it … mainly for hiking, site-seeing, etc. This is a good time to establish the value of a monocular: It is strictly for go-anywhere compactness – the viewing image will never be as good as a pair of good binoculars (my compact Nikon 7x20 binocs are superior to any monocular I’ve tried). Onto my testing …I tried four different models – at different specs and price points (listed):Vortex Solo ($ 67.00, 10x25): Hi quality construction and grip BUT larger & heavier than most (wouldn’t want it in my pocket). Good optics quality BUT the eyepiece created interference with viewing and adjustment was very stiff.Carson Monozoom ($ 29.99, 7-21x21): Design was funky and the dual controls (separate for magnification (from 7 to 21) and focus made it difficult to use. Optics were just so-so … high magnification was too blurry, low mag was OK.Roxant Viper ($24.99, 10x25): Good quality, compact design (small/light enough to go in your pocket), and the easiest to use. Optics were surprisingly good and the adjustment was the easiest to use.Leonuoraso ($12.79, 10x22): OK quality and easy to hold and use – these were the smallest and lightest of the four. Optics were OK, with a bit lower light coming thru the smaller (x22) aperture.Decision: The Roxant Viper was a stand-out value, providing a good quality compact monocular that hit the right features and compromises – it will be my go-anywhere optics. Due to the super-low price, I also kept the Leonuoraso as a dedicated accessory for my RV (I recently went to Yellowstone and FORGOT to bring any optics – that won’t happen again . I wanted to like the Vortex Solo, but the size and eyepiece awkwardness made it easy to eliminate. The Carson was just too gimmicky and clunky to operate.

Very handy.
I really like this monocular, it's light with a sharp image and covered in rubber to avoid damage from drops. I use it to check on some of the further corners on my land. It comes with a waist pocket holder so you can pull it out quickly and use easily but it can fit in your pocket not problem.
