Cognitive Development: The Learning Brain

I learned so much in this book. Although I've read other childhood cognitive development textbooks with easier navigation of key concepts, I found this book to be quite insightful. You get so much information in a more compact size (compared to huge heavy textbooks). Goswami summed up "the learning brain" well.

This book is wonderful! I rent my books from Amazon for college classes and it saves me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. The books are always in great quality and it is easy to send them back.

WONDERFUL development textbook. I have gone back to this book MANY MANY times in my own research years after the class was over. It is not only great for class, but the emphasis on understanding the scientific methodologies that contribute to consensus are pedagogically solid and make for good later reference. This is one book I will never resell.

the book is very informative and well-formed in terms of cognitive development content. however, i did not use my copy during my semester (graduate course on Cognitive Development) and tried to return it to Amazon, but the buy-back price was less than 1/3 of what i originally paid. i ended up keeping it. if you buy it, make sure to get good use out of it.

I'm sorry if your professor is making you get this book. It is researched based (not an issue), but it's a terrible read. It's VERRY hard to cut through all the fluff to get to the information you need.

is a good book for psychology students, just some small issues with a marks inside, but book was used, so i should've expected it
